I had my HFA DD of 7 wander away from me while I was trying on shoes at Sears once. I was surprised to hear my named paged to come to another department. Upon arriving, I found my DD standing there looking terrified.
I smiled at her and asked her what happened where upon she started to cry and yell at me for leaving her. I had been sitting in the same seat for over 15minutes.
Does anyone else have this issue with thier child with HFA? When my DD gets scared she immediately reacts as if someone has purposely done some wrong to her.
