FYI for those looking for DL pin codes but not getting any offers or emails

I'd seen on the boards a pin code had come out for Disneyland but I didn't get one so I went on the Disneyland website and signed up to get information and special offers to up my odds for next time. I called in yesterday (866) 285-1959 to see if by chance I had received the pin code but alas I did not and then the person who looked up my profile (technically profileS, apparently I had a couple?) told me I had opted out of receiving promotions! She opted me in so hopefully I'll start getting all the emails, I know pin codes are pretty rare so I'm not holding my breath there. I wanted others who are looking to receive Disneyland info and offers but haven't received anything to know they should call in to make sure they are on the mailing list. Apparently signing up on website and even having past stays is not necessarily enough to get you opted into receiving offers.

Shout out to @lorijohnhill for mentioning the pin code on the Budget Board. (I'm sorry you can't take advantage of this one, I hope you get one when you plan your next trip!)

That's what surprised me! Multiple on site visits spread out over the last few years but when the pin code was mentioned I realized I never received any sort of email offers or mailings from Disney or Disneyland. I signed up on the website immediately and that's why I was extra shocked to find out I had opted out of receiving promotional materials when I called in. Screwed by Disney IT again
