Question ....Miss Full of Info :worship:

We have the 7 day ticket for Ma, but have to upgrade it to Power AP. If I do this at GS, will they give me the AAA rate, or MUST I purchase the AP at AAA? :confused3

(I'M thinking I have to purchase the AP at AAA....)

hey Barb -

question for ya......why do you have to upgrade Ma's ticket? Do you think she will go with you again within the year? or is it because of the split vacay? I think I just answered my own question :lmao:

ha - don't know (don't hear that often:lmao: )

when i traded in the discounted tix (the 7 day one) we bought last year @ AAA for the 2 year BOGO pass, i did get FULL gate price on the trade:thumbsup2 as opposed to AAA price

look for links to the coupon discounts they offer @ drug stores down there (nobody asked for FLA id, even though it was clearly stated on coupon:rolleyes1 ).

perhaps a nice "local" DISer will snag you one if they offer?

or, you could save the tix for next time...i've got a feeling they are going to be very popular on ebay when HP comes out (and the tix prices probably will skyrocket?)...ca-ching; money in the bank

PS nice thing about U is that they've always got some promo going, keep checking!

On the Universal Site, you can get the 2 park 7 day tickets buy in advance tickets for only $79.95. Is there a difference?

http://www.universalorlando.com/promo_unlimited.php

don't quote me;) there's another thread here on that deal, i believe it's a email system where you need to use a kiosk @ park in lieu of "real tix" you get from AAA for the 7 day tix:confused3

fyi, know our local AAA is still selling the same tix they ordered last year @ the same price until they run out...might want to check your local office to see what they have on hand.

::yes::

I really don't want to hang onto the 7 day ticket....would rather trade toward the AP....

me thinks I'll be paying a visit to my AAA gal :rolleyes1

good luck! "my" AAA agency sux! They don't give ANY OBCs for DCL cruises & insist of bundling with airfare-what good is that?

when the deal came out last summer for the BOGO year APs i tried to get my local AAA agency to accept the return of our 3 tix...no cigar...insisted they were non-refundable (since it's printed on the tix).

i even called "corporate" who said my local agency is independently owned & set their own policies:rolleyes:

was glad to be able to upgrade @ the gate (even gladder when you let me know @ meet that they had only given me a 1 year tix:eek: thanx again!)

You don't have to use your local AAA office the closest one to me is 200 miles away, so I got a great AAA agent from someone here on the DIS and the agent is from NC. She has been great to work with and knows all about DISNEY.

You were able to change in the 7 day ticket for the AP cuz it was an UPGRADE....BUT, the discounted Power AP is not being offered at the park...it's being offered thru the AAA South.....That is my problem...if the park would sell the Power AP for $97., I'd be gtg....but, it's AAA selling it cheep :headache:

Have an email into AAA gal w/ link you posted...we'll see what she says :rolleyes1

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst (& in this case, that would be an answer of "no..you're stuck...you can't upgrade to the Power AP.... :headache: )
