FYI - Cannot alter BLT reservations today

Update: Just thought everyone should know in case you run into this that Kathy is absolutely right. I asked the CM specifically yesterday if he could make the 31st & 1st two separate waitlists & he said, "no problem". In fact he said he would make a new waitlist for the 1st & just alter the original waitlist & leave the 31st so I don't end up having to start that waitlist all over again. So I'm not sure if he was just misinformed or appeasing me, but today the CM I spoke to told me that they won't do that & my request for a 1BR for the 31st & 1st is considered ONE waitlist. So sorry for the misinformation, but I really wish that the CMs would be consistent in what they tell you.

Anyway it doesn't matter now because apparently new inventory is opening which very well may be why they haven't been able to access the reservations for more than a day. I got another day added to my reservation but unfortunately it's a studio for the 1st so I am now waitlisted for a one bedroom for the 31st & 1st & a studio for the 31st so ideally I would like to stay in a 1BR but if I have to move to a studio for 2 nights that will be a lot better than having to move all the way over to SSR for a night so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to anyone that is still waiting!

I also called this morning and was informed that my waitlist came through. Granted, I only had one day on my waitlist, but I'm very happy to be staying at my "home" in just a few short months!

My understanding is that any sort of day-by-day waitlist (including just two days listed separately) goes against the policies currently in place.

FUNCTIONALLY the only limit imposed by the computer system is that each member can have only two requests at a time. Technically the reps can open a separate request for the 31st and the 1st as in this scenario--but they really aren't supposed to do that.

That's why you'll get different answers depending upon who you talk to. There's a conflict between what they are supposed to do and what they are functionally able to do.
