He could be right since i got my information for the MIB Handbook by finding clues in the faces of all the aliens in just the right sequence.

sometimes i had to unbuckle the seat and squeeze out from under the lap bar and stand on my head, but sure enough, if i really believed, the hint would be there.

Sorry but i just do not see it.

It was actually called "Marvel POWER Island"

And as far as it being called "Silver Surfer", ... rides go through upteen million creative changes before everyone really decides on something. Just becasue concepts are tossed around when coming up with ideas does not mean it was ever intended to BE that way. For example, Ripsaw Falls, at one point, was to be Frostbite Falls with Rocky and Bullwinkle. Things change. I am sure plenty of other comic book charaters were considered for HULK during the planning stages.. sometimes you decide on something, and then a couple months later you find out you can't get the rights, or an executive thinks that the character is not profitable enough to have a ride named after. Nothing is more hectic then the planning stages.

Who knows if the final order was placed to B&M before or after a final theme was decided on. But I am sure that B&M was focused on designing something that Universal wanted and that would fit in the space provided (portions over water, under a bridge, etc.) and not trying to have anything spelled out in the track layout.

I don't see HULK in the track layout, but then again I may not see a butterfly in an Inkblot test either, and you might. It's just a coincidence.

But if you see the word HULK, then that is awesome. It is great that someone enjoys the park so much that they are willing to look for/notice things like that. And it's just one part of the element of discovery and adventure that the whole park is based upon.

Thanks for sharing kuribo Very interesting. Since I do not know more about theme parks than what I learn from GOING to them it was neat to hear about the rights and everything like that.

So originally the "island" was going to be called "Marvel Power Island?" I like the name it is now better. lol.

If you were to ride Hulk backwards, which very few have had the chance to do....you would wake in the night chanting "The Walrus is Paul, The Walrus is Paul" for 7 nights straight (one for each inversion). It's good that they don't let everyone try this, in my opinion, cuz a whole week of it is a bit much!


Seriously though, while I applaud your creativity, I doubt it is intentional as most of the types of loops and areas of track are just standard issue and can be found on many coasters...I think it's more a matter of being creative and seeing it. I think you have to understand, Dogg, that it IS a reach to make a U out of what could really be viewed as an "O" etc., but I think it's a fun thing to point out, too. I think the criticism or hostility that you're seeing come your way is a result of your inability to accept that others don't share your vision.

If I was so inclined, I could take a highlighter to the coaster track and make many different phrases, and HELP is one of them...but I doubt that's what they intended as a subliminal message.

I think in the future, if you want to share something that is your opinion, you have to realize that not everyone is going to agree or see it and that's what makes the world go-round. Your position that everyone MUST see it or be a moron of sorts probably didn't sit well with many here and it sort of invited sarcasm and joking.
We can all look at a cloud and see different things, it doesn't mean any ONE person is right, because it's all open to interpretation.

dznefreek, if I was kidding and I wanted 5 pages of this to laugh, I would have never posted this because it is just making me crazy right about now. As for Msdisney, the coaster isn't like the clouds, it doesn't change. It is still there the same as the day before. I am not calling anyone morons, but I defend my belief as much as they do. I don't see where it says help, but HULK is spelled perfectly in there. Not like what a lot of others have posted. And the word goes with the ride, another thing everyone else hasn't pointed out with their words. People try to look deeper than I ever did just to find something wrong with it and change the words in the coaster.

No, you didn't call anyone a moron outright (you said, "It doesn't take brain surgery to see it"), but because people can't see what you claim is so obvious, you feel the need to defend it. Can't you just make an observation and realize that others might not see it? I said it was like the clouds in that people can look at the same cloud and all see something different. I said the similarity is that it's open to interpretation.
The letter HULK are NOT perfect, because if my son made a U that looked like an O in a spelling test, he'd be marked wrong. The K could just as easily be an X. I gave you kudos for being creative, but you are passing this off as if it's the way it is, and it's most likely just a neat coincidence that you see HULK in there.
If I were going to post something like this, you better believe I'd be like, hey...if you look at it this way, I think you can see the word HULK spelled out...just for fun. But for you, this is like a sure thing and darn those who don't believe.

That's how it comes across and that's why I believe you are being hit with negativity. There have been others around here, much like yourself, who felt the same way you probably do right now...like everyone is ganging up on you, and the common denominator is the unwillingness to allow others to also have their own opinion and the assertion that you are right and that's all there is to it. It's a matter of opinion and certainly not a CLEAR message, so you have to realize, alot of people are going to think it's a stretch and have a right to say so as well.

Ok about that. I don't know if you know IOAcentral, but my mind has kind of been shifting back and forth between that and this because I posted the same thing. See even when I highlighted it, people on there still didn't see it. I know people are here still can't see how what I highlighted spells H U L K. That isn't that complicated to see. If people have different opinions, fine with me but as I said before, I stand by my thoughts on this wasn't a "coincidence." If I ever get an e-mailed reply, we might find out the truth behind it. What I say is before anyone denies, accuses, blasts, etc. Go on the ride for yourself. I feel that is pretty fair. Then you all can see it for yourself. That is good enough for me and I hope for you. that's fine, but those pictures were pretty darn clear and give us something that going on the ride won't...a good amount of time to stare at it and try to see it.

It's fine you don't think it's a coincidence, but others do believe it is, and that's their prerogative.

Why do you think an O looks like a U, I still don't get that...you are just taking one part of something and calling it a U, and then you say it's very obvious. It's just a little bit of a stretch.

Your original post makes this sound like a huge secret that you've unveiled, and I'm sorry to say, I'm pretty sure you're going to be disappointed to find out it's just your imagination.

If they email you and tell you you have cracked the secret code and you win a lifetime annual pass, then I will eat one of MIB9's hats.

Does the bottom of a U not look alot like the bottom of an O? LOL um, yeah, it does! Or, ok...how about this, if you continue your lines up and over, if you start with a U, it closes it, thus making it an O...Just look at the typed letter U and draw the rest of the vertical loop, the part that rounds up and over and voila, you have an O.
It could be a V now that I think about it. Maybe it's HULKS swedish cousin, HVLK?

Never mind...I'm just not taking the right drugs for this...
