Is it faster, easier to take the boat to MK and then monorail to epcot or just to take the bus there.
Thanks

It's by far easier and quciker to take the bus.

Taking the boat to MK, monorail to TTC and then monorail to Epcot would take 45 minutes if you hit everything right.

Take the bus to the Outpost, and catch the Epcot bus there. From FW to Epcot, it's less than a 10 minute ride.

If you were to take the bus to the Settlement, then the boat to the MK, then the monorail to the TTC, and then the monorail to Epcot, you could be looking at over an hour to get there.

Someone suggested to me to take the boat from WL to CR and then the monorail to TTC to Epcot. Is that do-able? What's the time frame on that? I need to avoid the bus system as my DD refuses to let me DGD ride the bus unrestrained. (No unkind comments, please. She will not budge on the subject.)

You are staying at FW. You will need to take the bus to get to/from your "home".

So what about WL to EPCOT? I also heard that it was faster to take a boat to CR and then hit the monorail. Is there a faster way?

Take the direct bus.

In my opinion, the quickest way to Epcot is your own vehicle. On two different occasions during our last trip it took 1 1/2 hours to get to Epcot. By the time you wait for the internal bus to take you to the Outpost and then wait for the Epcot bus, it can be a real pain. I have waited at the bus stop at FW for 45 minutes on more than one occasion for the Disney buses and to me, my time is more important than that. I know - I'm on vacation but still I don't want to waste my time sitting at a bus stop. The problem with catching a bus back to FW after the park closes is that you might have to wait for a second bus 'cause the first one is full. Then you have to wait for an internal bus at the Output and I don't care what anybody says - they don't always run every 5-10 minutes. Sometimes there will be one behind the other and then you have to wait 20-25 miinutes for the next one.

You will find more information on FW buses if you go to the Discussion board titled "Camping at Disney".

I agree with you about using a car. Most know I am not a big bus fan. I was trying to see if the Monorail would be faster. If the bus is faster, I drive.
