Is the hay ride only for camp guests or can any WDW resort guest go?

Our 1st night we would like to eat at Trails End, do the camp fire and than the hay ride.

Also, do you need to make a ressie for it.

many thanks,
-Kim

No reservations for the regular hayride (not sure about the Haunted version) and anyone can do it if you pay the fee.

All of the things you list are a lot of fun!

ANY WDW resort guest can do either hay ride. Apparently, what we have been hearing lately is ANY guest can do the campfire program or the hayride, EVEN IF you are not staying on WDW property. All you have to do is check go through the main gate, park your car, and grab a bus.

I apologize in advance for hihjacking this thread, Sanilacjack, but I don't think it will be taking anything away from your replies.
We are also planning an afternoon at FW for Trail's End, the Campfire, petting zoo, pony rides and maybe if we're lucky catch the wagon ride to the beach for firework viewing. I am at a total loss as to where all these activities are in relation to each other. can anyone help with that?

everything you mentioned is in the same vacinity, EXCPET for the campfire program, and it is only a short walk to the meadows area.

On last hayride offered in the evening 2 years ago, around 9:00 I think. It was great wagon driver stopped in secluded area that was dark but no trees to block view and we got to see Electric Water Parade it was a awesome experoence.Hope to do it this year on our December trip.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:

When in Dec. are you going to be there??

We will be there 11/28 to 12/6

We have always wanted to do what I mentioned above, but once we slip into the magic of the parks, its hard to tear outselves away.
Thought it would be a good first night.

We will miss you by one day we arrive 12/7/03 staying at OKW.We are going to 7:15 HDDR on 12/7 and hope to walk over to hayride(about 40 feet from entance /exit of HDDR) and catch last hayride to repeat our experience of 2 years ago.Only 16 at a time can go on hayride so if you see a few queing up for it around 8:45 get in line to assure you will get a seat. That said last time we did it was early December on Sunday and only 8 of us were on that hayride. It is a special way to end the evening at WDW so I say go for it if you can.:earsboy: :earsgirl: :sunny:

It will be the Fri. after Thanksgiving, so I will keep the que in mind.
What is the charge for the hayride?
We will be at BWV, can't wait!!! :)

You're welcome,I'm not sure of cost of hayride just can't remember I think it was either $4 or $6 per person. It not a big deal but just a tip hayride driver will take cash only,no checks cc's or resort charge cards.Have a great vacation.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:
