FW full this coming week!

I just called to try for reservations 1/21-30. The campground is full all of those days.

What's going on this coming week and next weekend? Anyone know?

We have been to FW many times and there are always some campsites that sit open the length of our trip. So, I never understand when they say they are completely full!

We have only stayed at FW while at WDW. Also, we have only used Disney transportation. I guess we'll have to stay off-site if we decide to go -- and drive our own vehicle to the parks (gasp)! Any suggestions for an off-site campground? What about the KOA?

I don't know but some people have a 4 day week this week. So there maybe campers who are taken advantage of that. I know I would if only I could!

We are heading down next Friday and arriving Saturday. We're staying until the 6th.

About 2 months ago I found out a landscaping school I was planning on attending was moved to this Friday through Sunday. I called the Fort to see if we could move the arrival date and departure date back one day. The only way we could was if we switched from a preferred site to a site with only electricity and water. Everything was booked.

Usually the weekends are whats actually booked. During the weekdays there is often plenty of space available. They have a lot of people who come in for the weekends - especally with this being a holiday weekend for many.

I thought so, too. I called back and had them check day by day. The lady on the phone was very nice and happy to input each day one by one. She seemed surprised as well that there was nothing except 1/24.

Just went online and got full hook-up open 24th to 30th and partial open 24th to 30th.

So some days are open atleast online.

We were at FW last week 1/12-1/18. We called every day to extend but never got a day. We were told they were over booked for the MLK weekend. We tried the resorts too and were told only a studio in Saratoga was available. We walked into the Poly and got a room right away....Of course 2 nights there was twice as much as 6 nights in FW.

So some days are open atleast online.

There is availability for the pop-up sites but that is not what I need.
