Will there be DIS members staying at the FW Campground for Jersey Week? (11/4 - 11/12)???? Where are you traveling from if so?

YES

This has been out there for three days and noone posted...

We will be the only ones there.... ( :guilty: with the 3 million non DIS users...)

Hey, we will be there too! It is not only Jersey Week but Virginia week too!
We will be camping in th 1400 loop from the 3rd until the 12th.
Can't wait!

Since it seems states can declare their own weeks, I am declaring the week of 22 October Pennsylvania week!

It seems the school systems have chosen that week to have Monday and Tuesday as "Teacher workdays" aka "no school" and then Friday is "veterans Day" so no school again. Many families take this as their vacation week so the kids will only miss 2 days of school.
Last year we went at the same time and it wasn't terribly crowded.

States have not declared it Jersey Week, Disney itself has, and not to worry PA will never have their own week at Disney... At least they give you off for the first day of Deer Season....

Hate to burst your bubble, but Disney does not recognize any special week as Jersey Week.

Call a CM and ask them if they have room availabilty for Jersey Week and they will ask you what day during the first week of November you wish to stay.

Bubble still fully inflated....

Checked out Disney's calendar of sanctioned events. Sorry, no joisey week. The name was started by people from joisey, not Disney. It is no more official than Gay Days or Mousefest. They all occur annually, Disney knows about them, but Disney didn't start them nor do they officially sanction them. Balloon deflated.

Joisy week, Pa. week...how about we are all going for the same reason year....WE ARE NUTS ABOUT WDW!!!!!!! Gotta say you gave me a giggle Joisey folk! :cool1: pirate: princess: :joker:

My Kiwi's bigger than yours....

Bubble mildly inflated...

It's quality, not quantity that counts.
Bubble deflated again.

ft guy, you were supposed to respond back with the fact that it will cost me double in gas to drive there due to the fact you basically have the same sleeping arrangements in a much lighter trailer....

Bubble deflating :( :(

I'm from New Jersey but won't be at Disney that week (Nov 6-10). :( I just don't like hanging out with NJ people, LOL. Seriously, my son's new school isn't closed that week at all, I guess because it's a private school. But we get 2 weeks at Christmas and 2 weeks in March!!

Now can someone talk my DH into going to Florida?

Perhaps I could redeem myself by commenting on how much easier it is to cool down or heat a smaller Kiwi, but that seems weak. How can I criticize someone who has such good taste in RV's?

So, bubble partially deflated due to original issue, but still solidly intact.

:thumbsup2

Send him over to my house one morning, he can pull the next Link in the 'Countown to Disney Chain' and see the elation in my kids as they are one day closer to the Magic... That should spur a two week trip in March for you... :sunny:
