FW Campground '13

I tried to book a few trips with my 5th Wheel to FW Campgrounds for 2013, but a screen came up saying that bookings could be made only up until December 31, 2012. Does anyone know when campsites can be reserved for next year?

I called WDW and made my reservations for Feb and April, 2013. It seems that reservations on-line are only possible until Dec 31st, but sites for next year can be done on the phone.

I booked for January but had to call to do it, also no discounts are available as of yet but you can always call back to check for discounts at a later date and have them applied to your reservation.

I was able to make reservations for our October 2013 trip already by calling.

You can book 499 days out by phone only.
Online is until end of year right now. It will extend thru '13 when they release new rates around August.

At 499 days out...can you also add the park tickets and meal plan or do you have to add that later on? If you book a site through Disney at the 499 days out, can you transfer that later on to AAA and add the tickets and meal plan with AAA? Thanks!!

You can book room only and/or packages at 499 days out. Yes if any discount becomes available you can add that to the reservation. Remember they can/may from 45 days out with a package add on a change fee for doing so. I find it better to book room only then add package at the end in case a special offer comes out. When trying for AAA do so until check in. We have gotten it as late as 2 days before check in before.

Package deals for 2013 won't be available until July 11th, room only is available at day 499.

Does that mean that you can't do a trip from Dec that extends into Jan too online? Bc I tried and it said nothing was available. I wondered if it was not really available or if it just wasn't possible to do online bc it went into new year. I guess I will be calling.

We just received our final 2013 prices for our Jan/Feb2013 FW stay in the mail. I checked and it looks like you can not book 2013 online now too. This is about a month earlier than previous years for us.

You can book online 499 days out from your check out day!

I wanted to just check2013 prices at the campground yesterday, and it wont let me. it will any other resort, but not the campground. thinking of getting an RV to vacation in(upgrading from a pop up and conversion van)

Just found out we are going to be able to go back to the World in June 2013. Was hoping to have a first stay at the Fort but nothing available . I will keep trying, someone will hopefully cancel!

What dates are your requesting?

I was puzzled by "no availability" ten months out so I plugged in dates June 2-8, 2013 (Sun-Sat) and got all four type of campsites available as well as cabins available. So it appears wide open. I used the inquiry tool on the main Disneyworld.com website (requested room only, the dates, and Cabin at FW/Campsites at FW).

Is this what you tried? What dates were you looking for?

I was shocked also. I got a message that there was no availability for what I was looking for but the cabins where available. I'm looking at June 7 - 16. I'll have to try again. Maybe I wasn't holding my mouth right. Lol

Ok,this makes no sense. Went back to the Disney site, first time no availability, edited the search for campsites only not the entire campground and low and behold there it was . Yeh, now I'm a happy camper!!!!!!
