FW Cabin in July

We are staying at the FW Cabins (First time away from our beloved deluxes) July 18 - 25th. Is the campground buggy during this time of year that you cannot sit outside at night? I am assuming that they spray since bugs are never a problem at night at the parks when I have gone in August.

Also, where do you catch the boat to MK? I have a map - is it over by the Settlement Post?

One more thing, we rented a golf cart. I am traveling with DS17, DD14 and DD friend 14. How and where exactly do you plug these things in anyway? Is it like a designated area that clearly states "GolF Cart Parking Only" or something to that effect?

Bugs are not a big problem, but you should bring some bug spray with you just in case.

The boat dock is at the beach near Trails End and the Settlement trading post.

The cart can plug in right out side your cabin(charge overnight and you should be fine). There are also some plugs in the cart parking areas, but not enough for everyone.

Just some fyi, only licensed drivers can drive the cart, so the 14 year olds will not be allowed to drive it.

There are parking spots for golf carts at all the main locations at the Fort. There is one on the southwest side of the Meadows trading post, two at the Settlement Trading Post and Trails End (one is right across from the Hoop Dee Doo, the other is down near the entrance to the marina), and one up near the entrance (just north of where you check in). I don't think any of them are really "clearly" marked as golf cart parking spaces, however, you'll know what they are because you'll see the other golf carts there.

You won't have a problem finding parking, depending on when and where you park you might or might not be able to find a place to plug them in while you're away. However, as HappyDznyCamper mentioned, just charge it overnight and you'll be good for the entire day.

Thanks to you both! I will have a blast. Really looking forward to this vacation - my son is interested in going to UCF so we planned to visit during their open house and since we are there - well you know how can I go without a visit to Disney!!!
