Future of Future World at Epcot?

With all the love being given to the other three parks around WDW, one has to wonder, what's next for Epcot? I thought it might be fun to share ideas as to what might bring Epcot back to it's splendor.

Definitely a retheme of the Wonders of Life building, Universe of Energy, Mission:Space ( do some people like it? am I one of the few that hate it? ), and definitely to give Figment some love. With the addition of the DVC lounge, maybe that's indicating they're going to revamp the ride and bring back Mr Dreamfinder? So many options! Just my ideas as to what to update. Any others?

I don't think they'll go for a multi billion dollar makeover but I think we will see improvements or changes in some areas.

Don't hold your breath, per all reports they are spending, and it will be potentially a larger budget than DHS got

Again, we need to wait and see.

The one part I am REALLY looking forward to is the rumor Martin has about the redo of the Innovations area, and the spine from FW to WS. A beautification of that, and some real updating in Innoventions with some real activities will be a ton of fun.

Also keep in mind, Per Martin the GotG is still on to take over UoE, and he has had some hints of WoL getting some love much later on. Not to mention upgrades of The seas, Land and SSE.

He also just spat out(sorry bad analogy) that the overall budget spend, if they do what he thinks they will do, will be greater than what DHS got

It's not hard to believe that it would need more money, Epcot is massive. I just hope they do a decent job and don't try to cheapen it up. Any talks of the Wonders of Life building or Imagination getting a revamp? I couldn't find any on the rumors thread!

There have been many plans walked away from for Imagination, there is some rumors of something being done, but not to the ride I don't think.
As for WoL, there was some plans to add some GotG once UoE was done, but it has been really quiet until recently. Martin at WDWMagic did mention some very long term plans to do something with WoL other than festival space.

I'm certain Epcot will get work but I doubt we see everything and I believe even Martin has said we might not see everything being planned.

Per Martin - 18 projects in total(not all rides ...) and he was pretty confident in 11 of those 18. That to me is very, very significant.

As for DHS, budget has not changed, but we are getting 2 new lands, and some added features as well, granted not the 3 major lands first proposed.

but you have a good point, until we see it actually happening, who knows what we will, and what we will not see.

There was one poster, can't remember who, that said there was a chance at an announcement in Oct. No idea if this is legit or not.
