Everyone says this, but I'd argue EPCOT has even less to do, especially for the target demographic of young families...Don't need a 5th gate when you only have 3.5 parks. Maybe make AK a real park first.

Ak is half zoo and half theme park and is not very good at either.Everyone says this, but I'd argue EPCOT has even less to do, especially for the target demographic of young families...
So I used to love ak and thought the idea it was half day park was absurd. I just got back and there was only 2 rides in entire park my daughter was tall enough to do. Now they do have shows as well she could go to and the self guided animals but I can’t ignore the fact there is literally only 2 rides in the entire park for toddler to do.Everyone says this, but I'd argue EPCOT has even less to do, especially for the target demographic of young families...
The Boneyard is awesome. I loved Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground when I was a kid.I have little kids and besides Magic Kingdom I'd never go into the other three parks expecting there to be a ton of rides for my kids. Animal Kingdom has some pretty good experiences, definitely better than Hollywood studios, for little tikes
Yes, that one outside Splash Mountain was wonderful for littles waiting for the big kids to ride Splash and BTMRR!The Boneyard is awesome. I loved Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground when I was a kid.
Disney, build more unstructured areas for kids aka playgrounds!
Yes! So sad.Yes, that one outside Splash Mountain was wonderful for littles waiting for the big kids to ride Splash and BTMRR!
Is this the same area that the old brochure for a California Themed resort would go?The Disney Dish podcast a few weeks ago had an interesting take on permit applications for updates to Western Way by Blizzard Beach. They suspect a new DVC is planned for available land across from Coronado Springs that could connect the skyliner from the Studios to Blizzard Beach, Coronado, and on to Animal Kingdom. I think that location would be awesome.
Touche
I've never understood the fascination with getting a 5th park, 4 is plenty if they make AK actually good and actually increase rides/capacity at the other parks vs just replacing stuff.
It would be easier to knock buildings down and rebuild like they did with Riviera. CBR lost 9 buildings.Caribbean Beach doesn't have elevators, so I doubt they'd just convert the buildings into DVC units. Maybe there's a way to add elevators to each building? Dunno. DVC seems enamored with high-rises at the moment, so things like converting CB seem unlikely unless it's a total gut.
I hope they expand the Skyliner. Even when it takes longer than other types of transportation, it's a pleasant way to pass the time. I'd love to see two expansion routes ... one to AK from the HS area and one that includes SSR/OKW and PO that connects into Epcot or HS. If the second line happened, I think you'd see PO converted into DVC.
