Fury or Chankannab Sea Lion excursion ?

I'm polling the family and we have it narrowed down to these two excursions :
1) Fury Catamaran sail, snorkel & beach party
2) Chankannab Sea Lion Discovery and Snorkel tour

We're split on the decision. Does it feel too rushed to do the catamaran, snorkel and beach in only a 4 hour excursion ? Otherwise this sounds fun.

How is the Chankannab National Park ? Anything special ?
I welcome comments from anyone who has done either of these Cozumel excursions. Thanks

My family did the Fury Catamaran on 8/28/04 and LOVED IT....

Planning on doing it again on our 8/19/06 cruise

The Fury sounds fun from the link (thanks scottygirl). I sort of wish the snorkeling was a little longer, but not sure my 12 year old will like the really deep water I saw mentioned. Sounds like I should pack a few light snacks though.

So any comments about the sea lion/snorkel discovery tour ? I'm just interested in hearing all sides before I make the decision. Thanks.

We watched the sea lion show and then did the swim with them afterwards (didn't do the snorkeling part, as we went on our own). The sea lion show was the typical sort of thing that you see at an amusement park, with the usual tricks. Before the show, they brought out birds for people to hold and get photos with. The swim was pretty cool...after the show, you got into the tank with one of the sea lions, and the trainer had it perform tricks, like jumping over us. We were all able to pet and "kiss" it. Very neat to see up close!

This sounds cool Barb. Didn't even realize there was a swim option. Is this something you book once you're there or did u book this thru DCL ? I only saw mention of the snorkel. Thanks for the info
