Fur Berries

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. I hope all of you are enjoying your day.

We have a bit of a strange tradition in our family in that we make Thanksgiving our big gift giving holiday and keep Christmas very calm and subdued. Anyway, that means we did presents this morning, and my youngest got a Fur Berry. Do any of you have one of these? How do they open? It says to give them some love, but the only way we can get it open it to yank it open in a not so loving and gentle way. Are we doing something wrong? I thought you were supposed to pet and/or hug it, but that doesn't do anything, and the commercial doesn't show anything really. There is a video on youtube showing someone forcibly yanking the thing open. Is that how it works?

Thanks for your response, but no there isn't a button it. I watched the youtube video again, and just decided to yank the thing open. Apparently, I wasn't yanking it open hard enough. I figured I might as well yank it open harder. If I broke it, no big deal. I mean if that wasn't how it works it was broken anyway. We ended getting it to stay open.

It really is very cute, and my dd has enjoyed it. She is a cuddler though, and played with it more when she thought she could "love" it open.
