Waiting for Illuminations right now, two funny things that made me laugh out loud: middle aged couple in panic mode stopped a trash CM and asked where the rides are, second best comment ever, teenage girl just looked across the lake and asked if "magic kingdom was over there"
Maybe I am just crabby since we staked our spot out an hour ago and we are already trampled on

Too funny:lmao: . Enjoy Illuminations. Wish I were there.

There was a time you could ask a custodial CM a question and they could probably help you out. Some of the comments overheard at WDW are pretty funny though. :earsboy:

that's great! I bet the CM's have a good laugh over all of the questions/comments they get. My all time favorite though is "What time does the 3 o'clock parade start?" :rotfl2:

You know they even have a t-shirt with Goofy about "What time is the 3:00 Parade" Then I was thinking about it. If you are on Main Street and the parade starts in Frontier land at 3:00 then you probably will not see or hear the parade for ten minutes. So I guess you could have people wondering at 3:10 when the 3:00 parade starts since they are there and it is not coming.

Edit: Forgot my funny story.... We were walking around Frontierland and we overheard a day informing his family that they will not allow you to get another fast pass until you have used the other one.

We've got one - we got off EE, and when we were walking through the photo display area, one adult was saying to another, "Are you okay? You look like you need to go to the bathroom?" while looking at the photo. :lmao:

We were at the Magic Kingdom yesterday for my husband's birthday. As were were getting on the ferry boat I head two teenage girls behind us talking about the crowd. One girl told the other that it was like we were being led into a slaughter house. The other girl said "No it is like in an alien movie and they are taking us somewhere safe." I didn't have the heart to tell her that if this was an alien movie, then the aliens would surely sink the ferry.;)

Oh I have one - was at Epcot on the 20th and was in line for Marie in France when a lady goes "is that Hello Kitty?" - I had to LOL

A couple weeks ago there was this couple on the bus to AK with me looking at a White heron in a swamp:

Wife: LOOK! It's a flamingo!! An albino flamingo!!! We aren't even at Animal Kingdom yet!!! Those must be SOOO rare!!!!!!!!

Husband: Isn't that a pelican? I think it's a pelican. I heard they have pelicans in Florida.

This is from a few years ago on the Safari at AK. Lady is telling her kids that they don't need to worry about the Nile Crocs because they aren't real.

On our last trip, during a ride on the bus to the MK. I heard a mother from another country tell her kids to look at the grape vines that Disney had along the road side, in the trees. I smiled and then in a nice southern accent replied "No Ma'am, that there is Kudzu, it is a wild vine and it is hard to get rid of."

I was there a couple months ago, overheard a family talking on the bus to Magic Kingdom: "Okay, we should be able to see everything in Disney World today, then tomorrow let's go to Epcot."

On the resort monorail line our conversation with the people across from us:

Does this go to Hollywood Studios?
No
What parks does it go to?
Only Magic Kingdom; the Travel and Transportation Center and a few resorts- you can catch a bus to Hollywood Studios at the TTC if you want to go there.
Good, No we'll ride this to to Magic Kingdom. That's really where we wanted to go anyway.
You just got on at the Contemporary- did you know you could walk to the Magic Kingdom from there faster than riding this resort monorail line all the way around?
No really?

They were really sweet and clearly needed help. I was trying really hard not to laugh. In the time we had left, we gave them a crash course on how to get to the different parks. Hey- at least they knew there were 4 separate parks!

Funniest thing I ever heard was on the Disney Dream a few weeks ago. We were at the cash desk paying for some things and chatting to a couple of the cast members. A lady came over and interuppted our conversation and asked one of the cast members a question.
Lady: hey do you have any of those "boxes"?
CM: which boxes?
Lady: you know the ones with the Disney stuff in them.
CM: I'm not sure which boxes you mean, what's in them?
Lady: the Disney stuff.
This went on for a while as the CM tried to identify what the "stuff" in the box was. In the end the cast member led the lady around the shop to see if they could see what she wanted. How they kept a straight face I don't know. I just couldn't understand how she didn't even know what she wanted to buy but expected the CM to be able to indentify it by referring to it as a box of Disney "stuff". It was hilarious.
