And the fridge that I owned in the early seventies says... HOLD MY ICE CUBES!!!! I could not kill the thing. It was a Kenmore from sears that lasted in our kitchen until we could no longer stand having the Coppertone color in there. I finally left it in the house when I sold it. I also had a upright Kenmore freezer that I left there for them in the basement. That was still going strong, non-stop for about 22 years. I would guess it probably still is running fine.
