As someone who used to own 20 fish tanks in their living room and has now downsized to 1 60 gal, 2 55 gal, and 1 5.5 gal (freshwater but you get the idea) ...... I KNOW that is a tang but I will still think Dory fish. I do it with Clown fish and Nemo too and every other creature that has a famous representative (Looking at you Zoboomafoo!). It's just easier and everyone knows what you're talking about.
