We all got together for Thanksgiving (me, ex, kids) and when we were grocery shopping for Thanksgiving, I said, "Kids need this for the cat..." and grabbed a cheap package of 2 laser pointers. Kids had a ball with the cat (Ok, I had a ball with the cat, LOL.)

The next day they put their tree up and I got a text, "Can't keep the cat out of the tree. He keeps climbing up and going after the red bulbs!" LOL.

My tenant (more like a housemate) told me that my cat and her dog played so much in the yard at night when she let her dog out. Then I realized that she has a red blinking collar on her dog that she puts on her at night. Yeah, the cat was chasing the red dots.

Meanwhile in Connecticut, my classroom was 83 degrees for the past two days. It’s been in the 60’s and the school had the heat on full blast as if it was December...wait...it is December. It feels more like April.
