I lost my grandmother (with whom I had a very close bond) very suddenly only 3 weeks ago. It hurts, I know.

God will be there....you will be there for your mum....she will be there for you...you dear father is still there....he always will be, guiding you and smiling down on you. You have your very own, very special guardian angel.

Memories keep alive those that we miss most. Remember fondly.

We lost my dad 10 years ago to Lymphoma, but we had about 6 months to get used to the idea that he was sick and possibly was not going to get better. It has to be much more difficult to have happened so quickly for your family.

What a difference a day makes I lost my best friend yesterday to cancer. I was hoping our two families can visit WDW together and share a 2brm villa someday but it won't happen now, at least not with him.

We went thru a similiar situation with my father. Went into the hospital, diagnosed with Cancer, and Dead within the week. It was quite a shock, and because it happend at Christmas, was never quite the same Holiday for us.

Time has somewhat dulled the pain, so that the good memories are able to come thru, and there will be moments of happiness again in your future, for you and your MOM. Just hang in there.

My personal trick was to take a nice bubble bath, for a half hour, and just turn everything off. A way to recharge, so I could be strong for everyone, and face the world again.

The fact that your pain is so sharp lets us know that he must have been really special person.
