Hi. Every year for Christmas we (anyone that would like to participate) give out funny gifts. The gift can go to anyone present and it has to be funny. there are usually around 40 of us together. The only rules are: it can't be expensive and you can't hurt someones feelings. I'm having a hard time finding something this year and was wondering if anyone has any creative ideas. Just so you have an idea: Last year I had a picture of my brother blown up from his honeymoon. He was hungover like you wouldn't believe and looked like death warmed over. It was especially funny because he had been married five years so no one had looked at his pictures in such a long time. The year before I gave my husband a care package for when he goes to the Patriots games. It included stuff like: aspirin, a roll of toilet paper, tums, exlax, pepto bismal, a beer, a bag of pretzels, stuff like that. Can anyone think of anything funny? I am trying to target a forty year old male. My brother, husband and brother-in law fit that description so maybe I can get one of them. Thanks for your suggestions and Merry Christmas. This is a really fun tradition that we started and everyone looks forward to it.

how much do you want to spend? I had to get my dh the new darth vader helmet that sounds like james earl jones when you speak - it's $35 at Toys R US. Men in their 40's are definitely of the "star wars" time period. It would definitely be a conversation piece!

i always get a couple of fun presents too - especially for DH. This year he got his very own giant Mr. Potatoe Head. It's a case shaped like the him with all the features and inside is the whole Potatoe family and parts. It was $19.99 but I also had a 40% off coupon. :cheer2:

How about going to Spencer's. (I don't know if you have one, we have it here in Ohio) They have a whole bunch of gag gifts, canes, age pills and such. Or you could buy some Depends, Geritol or hemorroid cream. The funny thing is that those gag gifts should be hung onto, because they may come in handy !!!!!!

We have a Xmas party that everyone has to bring a White Elephant gift (gag/funny gift), alot of people go to flea markets, garage sales etc. Some of the gifts have been: a huge ceramic pink pig bank, a black velvet Elvis painting and a wreath made out of those plastic 6 pack holders (turned out to be a craft that a child made for her father that the second wife found in the basement). Many laughs from that one.

Or how about a box of dirt with a card that says "Older than dirt".

Have fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

A girl at work brought in some Martha Stewart slippers!!! (they were made out of maxi pads!) It had a little poem with them, we laughed for 10 minutes over them!

I had to see these maxi pad slippers so i searched and came up with them. Heres what i got...lmbo! Too funny

Let me know your sizes. Christmas is tight this year.

How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads:

You need four maxis to make a pair.

Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.

The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.

Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.

Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers, etc.

These slippers are:

Soft and Hygienic

Non-slip grip strips on the soles

Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh

No more bending over to mop up spills

Disposable and biodegradable

Environmentally safe

Three convenient sizes: Regular, Light day, and Get out the Sand Bags.

>See the nifty slippers for yourself....

I am snorting coke through my nose!:rotfl:

My two older kids are going to a youth group Stinky Santa party Sunday. They come up with their own awful presents but I do some too, just in case someone shows up without a gift. Some of my best gifts have been : a teddy bear with dying batteries that sounded like he was strangling :faint: ; a 5lb can of dried raisins(sounds so enticing!); John Denver record; Dinner for Two--can of soup, two small bags of doritos, a pkg of Koolaid, and a candy bar; a 6-ft tall Bugs Bunny with a broken ear; and a sign that says, "Teenagers: tired of being harrassed by your parents? ACT NOW! Move out, Get a job, Pay your own way, While you still know everything!" :earboy2:

These are to cute. I think I will make these for my sister.

I got my boss a mini golf bag that you push the buttons and it heckles you several different ways. I once received an adorable farting Santa- squeeze it & it farts, then blames it on the kids, dog, dinner, etc. There were some obscene ones through the years as well..... Spencers gifts was a regular stop for me each year...also check ebay.....

How about a MR. or Mrs. Wonderful. I got my mom one for christmas yesterday an she loves it.

We started doing the white elephant gifts at work a few years ago and we have such a good laugh over them. The hits this year were a dung bird (it's so ugly and made out of some unrecognizable substance that words just can not describe it) A felt santa toilet seat cover- on the top is santa and on the underneath he is hidding his eyes so you can do your business in private. Last year was the glued together toilet paper with a bathroom reading book.

Think duct tape. You can make a wallet out of duct tape or they even have books that show all the handy things you can do with duct tape.

A small ziploc bag of mini marshmallows inside a gift bag.

Tag outside reads: "You've been naughty.
So, here's the scoop.
All you get
is snowman poop!
