Funny fastpass pic...

I'm trying to catch up on my last vacation... Here is my husband w/his day's "winnings" - the time stamp on the pic was 1:20 in the afternoon.

I took this picture (hope it works this is my first picture post) at WDW last year Spring Break which was also Easter Week. It was taken at 11:08am

We end up taking ours home instead of using them, b/c we collect them but then the lines have been so light, or we just never get back to the FP ride, that we don't use them.

I know we're lucky to have gone at lighter times, but it does feel silly to have them but not need to use them.

Great job! I obviously have not mastered the FP system...we've never gotten more than a few at a time! I guess I need to hydroguy's tips.

Funny story...the first time we went we didn't do FP at all. We were
Second time we went we did 1 FP. We tried to but didn't really get the point.
Third time we went we got Dream FP's...that's when dh finally bought into the
Nov was our 4th trip and we tried to work the system, but were still -less
Now my dh will have a goal to shoot for!

At WDW you had to hand them over at the end of the line!

There were a couple of times we put our tickets in to get the second card...the one that says you already hold a FP for that ride...just so we'd have something to scrapbook!

Maybe DL is more generous about this!

Looking at this, these are two different days' fast-passes - once he got the hang of it, he took his job *very* seriously - even left our Character Breakfast to go grab some! LOL

A great idea if you have extra fastpasses at the end of the night is to "dream" someone by giving them away. We have done this numerous time...it is a way to show a random act of kindness. It is fun to do.

Collecting fastpasses is almost a sport for my DH!

OH these were all fastpasses that had not yet been used - just gathered - they do take them, though we ended up w/some spares over our week.

1:20 in the afternoon.....nothing like heading back to the hotel for a rest with 6-8 FPs for later.

For guys like your hubby & me, FP collecting is a fun & rewarding activity.

I love it! I'm the FP runner/collector for our group. I loved "dreaming" people with FP's we had collected and didn't need/want to use. The best FP dispenser last month was SM ~ I'd stick in 3 AP's and 4 FP's would spit out!

Once we gave away a set of fp for SM because we were hoping to another park at WDW and they were past the time. The people looked at us like we were crazy then we watched them throw them away!!!!!!!!! UGGGH

We haven't even gotten anyone to TAKE them. After a few of those experiences, we just opted to bring them home instead of deal with that.



I showed the pic to hubby and he was a bit scared. See....he thinks we follow a plan and do quite a bit. He does not know how much MORE we could attempt to do. He did not know, because he and DS discourage me from it, that you could get all those FPs during the first half of the day and then use them later (he knows you can use them later, he just hasn't embraced the FP runner concept).

Perhaps a future family trip will be very different, once he lets it really sink in....

ITA! We had 3 for Big Thunder Mountain and decided we weren't going to use them so we handed them to 3 teenaged girls that were just getting into the 45 minute line - they were so excited. It was one of the best parts of the day - to see their faces!

I saved a few from BLAB that we didn't go back and use on our last visit to scrapbook, that is our favorite ride.

Someone did that for my niece and me at WDW for the Rockin Roll roller coaster. We were just headed for the LONG line and a couple gave us two fast passes. It's really the only way we got to ride because once I'd have seen the time for the long line we wouldn't have had time to wait.

Now I give away extra fast passes when we have them, too. But I should give them to people actually at the ride if I can. I gave passes to TMM to people who were just entering Hollywood studios in December and they had a blank look on their face when I told them it was their lucky day getting passes to the most popular ride. They had NO clue what the passes were and asked me what that ride would be.

Well just in case anyone will be there early on Feb. 14, my family arrives at aobut 1 in the afternoon, and Ridemax assures me that the fast passes for Magic Mountain will be all gone by then, so if you are there and get an exta set, just look for us to give them away too! We will have on white t's with valentine mickey head saying celebrating the love with Mickey on Feb. 14, 2009.

Too true - he is already getting his insoles fired up and making his plan. Oh, and Ridemax really helps him w/his project. I'm extremely amused. ;-) Oh, but also grateful, it makes the afternoon/evening *so* much better.
