This morning, I put 2 dozen eggs on the stove to boil. My youngest was helping me. As the water started to warm, chirping noises could be heard from the pot!!! 
She ran to the door to call in her sister. Jeana comes to the stove, thinking Jessica is totally imagining things. Well, the chirping noises are getting louder the warmer the water gets!! 
The girls begin yelling at me to take the egss off the stove....I am killing the chicks!!!!
It takes several long stressful minutes to finally convince them that there are no chicks inside the eggs....it is only the warm water and air bubbles.
I don't think I'll ever be able to hard boil an egg again and not hear my frantic daughters' voices inside my head!!
