I once shared this on the Disneyland board, but it's just so darn hilarious I thought I'd share it here on the community board. When my dad was a young boy he went to Disneyland in 1962 with his family. Everyone, including his grandmother who was nearly 80 years old got on the Matterhorn thinking it was a slow paced train fantasy ride. As they're going up the ramp they're all thinking how nice and relaxing the ride is. As soon as they drop they all have the shock of their lives and of course worry about the Grandmother. After the ride was over she didn't say anything and was fine. I guess the cast member figured she knew what she was getting herself into when getting on. So, what funny stories do you have to share?
