I'm a country gal and I just think all major cities are "icky" Add the heat, the humidity, and crime, and I just can't handle it.... Some people don't even lock their doors around here in NH. Some homes don't even have working locks.. no joke!
I'm in for a big culture shock when we move to Fla. Luckily, we are moving into a more "quiet" area. Ted's company is pressuring him to move to Broward county but its just not going to happen.
Okay, is it me, or is the Orlando area, much less humid and sticky than Miami?? People tell me I'm nuts, but I can feel a definite difference.
Poohbear- Unfortunately, I think the trend is to move closer to the mouse...there are so many people moving to that area. I need to get there and get a house before the prices skyrocket like they did here near Boston.
Anyway, this is totally off-topic. Check out those articles though... I look forward to Sundays when I can read the newest Key West Cabbie story!
