I haven't read through this whole thread, so I don't know if this one has already been posted! But how about my best friend, who was my roommate in Orlando at the time, thought EPCOT was inside the big "golfball'!!! She didn't realize it was an outdoor theme park!!! She was so amazed when we got there!! We all had a good laugh at her expense for a while after that!!![]()
Overheard in the American Adventure theater after the show:
"I didn't think that was Mark Twain at first"
"Shoot, I thought it was the KFC guy!"
We were on the GMR, sitting up in the first car with the gangser. My friend, seeing it for the first time was right into it. The gangster said "snakes! why did it have to be snakes!" And my friend said "You've got the gun- shoot it" The look on the poor CM's face said it all.![]()
We were having lunch last week in Pizzafari at AK, and a dad was looking for his son and loudly calling out his name, which happened to be Marco. You guessed it - every time he hollered "Marco" several people yelled back "Polo"!
And the best part of my trip with them? Practical Jokes! This man did NO research "Thats up to the wife" and didn't know what anything was. His son was 18 months old and he wanted his SON to do everything. Sorry Charlie, height requirements and all. So he wanted to take him on the train he saw going around MK. I said "Oh he can't go on because of the height requirement because there are no seatbelts but since its your first trip, I will wait with him while YOU go on it. He said "oh thats so sweet of you" and proceeded to get on the "train." Which just so happened to be Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I never laughed so hard.
2 days later we were in Epcot and his little girl fell in love with "Apricot" as she called the "big ball" and we went on it over and over again. Her daddy thought the spiel about communication was amazing and was very impressed. That night we went to EMH at Magic Kingdom and he asked me what Space Mountain was. I told him it was very similar to the "big ball" as they called it but it taught all about space rather than communication. Sucker bought it hook line and sinker. Since we had no kids with us that night we had no reason for baby swap and we got him on before he realized what it was.

Same family went with our family to visit Parc' Disneyland in Paris... He looks around one afternoon...after being there a few days and says wide eyed and seriously "Everyone here sounds weird, its like they are speaking a foreign language"
I was pregnant with DS and we were eating at a restaurant (dont remember which) but there was a family at the table behind us. The little boy asked his daddy why my belly was sooo big...His dad said shes got a baby in her tummy and the little boy said..."where did she get the baby at?" The daddy looked at him and said with the straightest face on earth and said...."WALMART"!!!!!!!! I laughed until I cried.....
