funniest moments!

I don't know if mine counts because it was in a hotel at Disneyland but it's still funny!
DH (boyfriend at the time) and I were planning our Disneyland trip and booked a room at the Hilton Convention Center across the street from DL. Its a fancy business hotel practically in the Convention Center and there was a convention of some sort going on when we were there. We wanted to save some money eating in room but the hotel room only had a fridge, no microwave.
As we unpacked the truck and brought our stuff upstairs, I noticed another bag I didn't remember packing/bringing. DH picks it up and its making an odd rattling sound and it gets much much louder as we're walking to the lobby and people start noticing. I have no idea whats in it and its getting somewhat embarrassing so I asked him what was in the bag making that sound while were waiting for the elevator. We and 7 or so business people file into the elevator and as the doors close, my DH says, "Its a microwave" like it's no big deal. A MICROWAVE!?! He continues by saying he "pulled it out of the wall from his apartment" and that it was a "surprise for me". Yes, thank you. Thank you very much.

OMG, next time I go somewhere, BYOM. Bring your own microwave. Good one!

Several years ago, my family convinced my adorable Polish grandma to ride Test Track with us since we knew she could handle it.

When we got off the ride, we looked at the picture of our car that is taken during the outside hairpin and noticed that my grandma was holding my grandpa's baseball cap over half of her face-- we could literally only see her eyes in the pic. When we asked her why she held it up to her face, she said that she was "worried that she wouldn't be able to breathe since we were going so fast." For some reason, she thought the cap would help conserve air?? The image of all of us screaming next to this old lady whose face is covered with a baseball cap for legitimately no reason was the funniest thing ever. And, better yet, it was projected for all to see!

God love her.

It's been forever and this thread needs to be reactivated!

One of my favorite memories is from when I was in line for ToT. I was flying solo, and ended up behind these two 30-something guys who (obviously) had never been on the ride. One guy says to the other something to the extent of "Yeah I bet this is so stupid. You probably just, like, walk from one side to the other and stuff jumps out at you."

I really hope he was surprised.

One day my family and I went to Blizzard Beach and we decided to take the sky ride to the top of the "mountain". Well we all went into the singles line because it was shorter. My little brother, about 12 at the time was told to sit between these other guys. well...... these other guys were both very large in shape, round bellies and all, no shirt, pierced nipples, bald heads, probably about 50+ in age... and here was my little, skinny, 70pound brother sitting between them. We laughed so hard.

Not haha funny, but we still laugh about it. We were at Akershus for the Princess lunch. Several days before, DS3 met Snow White, and was very taken with her During lunch, Snow White comes over to our table and says hello. He had been sleeping on my lap, but as soon as he saw who it was, he hopped down, went over to her and stood gazing up at her adoringly. It was so sweet - she bends down and gives him a kiss on the forehead with her red lips! DH was videotaping the whole thing - all the adults were giggling because it was so cute how he was looking at her. He wouldn't let us wash the kiss marks off for three days! Later that night we are walking up through WS and an older gentleman walks by, and says to ds "I see you've met our Snow White!" DS still says she's his true love!

We were at CP on our first full MK day. My 2.5 year old daughter was in a very, very grouchy mood (hungry for lunch, overwhelmed by the sights, whatever). She was very nervous about characters and wouldn't go near any of them. Tigger and Piglet came to our table, she refused to even look at them. When Pooh finally came by, she amazed us by jumping out of her seat and going right up to him. She even gave him a huge hug. I was blown away, told Pooh how she'd been too shy to say Hi to the others, so she must really like him, etc, etc. She had the biggest smile on her face.

After Pooh left, I crouched down to tell her how proud I was of her, and she announced, quite loudly, "Mommy, I pooped!"

Now, I'm not sure if she'd done it while in her chair, or while hugging Pooh, but we all got a big laugh out of the fact that all she needed to cheer up was to pooh and see Pooh.

Not really funny, but I was really surprised when I took her to change her diaper, she had an extreme reaction to being up high on the changing table. I usually changed her on the floor at home. She screamed, kicked, and clung to me for dear life. I felt so bad for the other people in the bathroom.

On our first vacation to WDW, my sister, who has a gap in her top front teeth, got a keychain stuck in it: right in the middle of Animal Kingdom. Poor girl was so embarrassed. My mom was able to get it out ok tho

We had many funny moments at Disney but one of the funniest occured just after our trip.

We used photopass and got a free photo album to design ourselves online .... you could totally personalise it and in ours, I wrote the story of our trip. What a great memento!

When it arrived in the mail, I was so excited.

I read through, about our arrival, checking into our resort - All Star Movies - and how my daughter was so happy to be in the Toy Story building overlooking Andy's room .... for which I wrote "Waking up to a giant Woody each morning was awesome ...."

My BEST story EVER. Can't believe I didn't think of this first!

Same trip as before (Sept 2008), Went to San Angel Inn with my friends (a married couple) and afterward we walked around WS. It was late. My friend's husband had an upset stomach and kept running into every bathroom we passed. We finally get all the way to UK and he takes off again while we go take pics at the red phone booths nearby.

After waiting a lil while my friend says out of nowhere, "Which side did Adam go in?" I said I wasn't sure. She looks horrified and says, "I think he went in the ladies." I tell her surely not, but let's go check. We take two steps into the women's and low and behold, what do we see under the 2ND stall doors? HER HUSBAND'S SHOES!! She practically runs out. She's dying. I'm dying... laughing.

But wait... it gets better...

I text Adam asking him if he realizes he's in the women's RR (it's late and the park is almost empty so no one has been in since he went in). No response. Women start to come by and go in and out pretty regularly. Then a cleaning lady goes in for a long time. My friend is SO horrified and I can NOT stop laughing! FINALLY after being in there for maybe 45 minutes he manages to slip out when no one is around. It's a miracle no women spotted him.

He told us later that he realized not too long after he went in that he was in the women's, but he was so miserable he didn't think he could get up. He also said that at one point a little girl stuck her face to the crack and said "Daddy?"

I still tease them both to this day.

Ok, this was hilarious. But, I literally cried laughing at the "Daddy?". I read this one out loud to my husband (we have a similar type story involving a famous bathroom at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville LOL)

We have a funny moment from our trip last Sept. My dsis, who I love to death, but we always tease her because she never finishes a meal, and we're always on the dining plan, so she'll carry around her dessert in her purse throughout the parks the entire day after lunch. One day at DHS last year, she had a cookie wrapped in a couple napkins from lunch. We went on TOT and while going down one of the times, her cookie flew out of her purse and landed on the man behind us. I couldn't stop laughing. The man was very nice and even gave it back to her, but it was hilarious.

Dying here!!!! Reminds me of when my son had a little action figure woody and a large stuffed woody that he little hard woody & big soft woody. In the middle of Walmart he loudly asked me "Mom, would you like to play with my little hard woody?"
We still crack up about that one.

When I was eight, I was walking through Epcot with my family (parents, my sister, my aunt, my uncle, and three cousins, nine people in all). It was hot and we were thirsty, so my uncle bought the five kids Icees. Somehow, I tripped over nothing and faceplanted straight into the ground, and when I threw my hands out to break my fall, my Icee went flying and covered me with blue Icee. I'm 20 now and they still say "Cali's a Smurf!" whenever we come to the walkway between Test Track and Mexico

A few years later, the same group of nine was leaving the Hall of Presidents, and my uncle was trailing behind us. Back then, DSis had really light blonde hair, and my uncle saw that light blonde hair up in front of him, and jumped forward and cried out "Boo!" to scare her. .... yeah, it wasn't my sister. I still feel bad for that little girl, but it was still pretty funny. No real harm done, after all.

We were at the MVMCP on Tuesday night. My husband and I sat down on a wall near Dumbo thinking it would be a good spot to catch the Wishes.

Although it was early, a quick group of fireworks went off near the castle (probably from the stage show...) and a family stopped to watch. The woman exclaimed, "It's time for Hallowishes!" and sits next to us. No more fireworks go off (because it's still 20ish minutes until Holiday Wishes is set to begin). So the husband stands up and says, "Let's keep going... We can find a spot when it actually starts."

The wife, hearing some trash cans being rolled around, says, "I hear them. They must be ground fireworks!" and looks very serious as she tries to hear fireworks that she can't see... The husband gets all annoyed and pushes the stroller away...

The woman stands there for awhile, all alone, trying to hear ground fireworks.... What in the world are GROUND FIREWORKS??

Back in the early 80s, we stayed at the Polynesian. I was probably a junior or senior in high school at the time. I'd worn my sports coat on the flight because we were going someplace nice for dinner one night during the trip, and I didn't want to pack it in a suitcase. Well, like I said, it was the 80s (that's my only excuse). My sports coat was a coral pink color -- very bright and very preppy. (I thought it was the coolest thing ever at the time.) I was probably also given a lei when we arrived, so I'd have been wearing that too. I guess I looked quite tropical.

While my parents were checking in, I was standing in the lobby near the waterfall just taking things in. An elderly couple came up to me and handed me their luggage, thinking I was a bellman. English wasn't their first language, and I had the hardest time explaining to them that I didn't work for the hotel. They didn’t want to take their bags back.

To this day, my sisters have never let me live this down. When we travel together, one of them will inevitably hand me a bag and ask me where my pick coat is.
