First off, i love this thread

I've wanted to contribute this for a while and now i think its time. This is the funniest thing that ever happened to me in Disneyworld, and perhaps in the last few years. It's a tad long but i think its worth it

It happened in December 04. My sister and I were in Epcot, and were at the Garden Grille Restaurant at the Land (before it got changed over).
We were seated in kind of a half booth. Originally, there was a family sitting there but when we came, the waiter split the full booth and table section and gave us a small table and the corner section of the booth seat. There wasn't much room between the booth seat and the table either. And the family next to us was a bit annoyed that we kinda took some of their space away (understandable) so we tried to stick to our little corner. So a lot of characters come by, and take pics with us. We try to find good places for them to go that isnt disrupting waiter traffic but also not disrupting the slightly disgruntled family next to us.
At the point that our meal comes (and i love Garden Grille!), Chip comes. Having failed in every other way to fit a character into our pictures, I invite Chip to take MY seat as I get up so that I can take a pic of him and my sister. Chip stays for a bit and is very friendly (i've found both Chipmunks to be extremely friendly and willing to joke around a lot with me).
But then...it's time for Chip to go and he motions as if he is going to leave (shakes our hands and waves).
But he stays there. And he continues making motions to me. I, dumbfoundedly, start to wave back at him.
This continues for about 30 seconds and his hand motions get more animated.
As i said before, the area between the boothseat and the table was very narrow.
Chip...apparently, got stuck.
So basically, i was unknowingly responsible for getting a large chipmunk stuck in my dinner seat. I looked at my sister and we both exchanged a look of
"oh man, when this ordeal is over, we are gonna crack up" look.
Chip continues motioning to me.
And I then grab his hand and lift him out of the booth. It isn't easy due to the small space, cause he was REALLY wedged in there!! But i finally got him out. He brushes himself off, shakes my hand again, and continues on his merry chipmunk way. I detected a small chuckle as well from him. I sit down...wait for him to leave, and my sister and I laughed harder then we ever did. I was unable to eat my delicious food for 10 minutes. Not just because of what happened, but because of what COULD have happened.
If i had not been able to get him out...WHAT would have occurred? A scene, no less. And THAT would have just been a terrible mess. Imagine a whole team of waiters attempting to "De-chipmunk" a booth? Or "de-booth" a chipmunk? What if security was called in? the local news? NASA? As you can see, the possibilities were endless, and i died of laughter thinking about it. Once again, this was not an intentional situation, i had no idea he was gonna get stuck. But he wasn't hurt, and he seemed to find it amusing as did us. So yeah, that was definitely my funniest Disney story ever, Hope you enjoyed
P.S. If you were the "chip" in that story, sorry

But hopefully it brought some variety and humor to your day
