We were in AK this past Monday and were watching this little girl recite the pledge of how she would take care of the animals when she got her last stamp "of all the ones she was collecting that day". She was probably 5 at the most. The CM was telling her if she saw a bug, put a cup over it and slide a paper under it so she could move it outside instead of squishing it. The CM said she does sometimes squish roaches. The little girl said "We have lots of roaches at our house!" Her eyes were so BIG!!!!

Oooh I want to play! :rotfl:
I think one of the funniest things I heard came from a CM and then the response my brother gave, I still laugh now.
We were riding on the tram that takes you back to the car park and as many of you many know at the end of the day the CM at the back of the tram likes to make jokes to keep everyone entertained... well we arrived at a section of the car park and the over the tannoy came "please do not get off the tram until it has come to a complete stop, you will know when it has come to a complete stop when we are moving at the same speed as the pavement" my brother then proceeded to say "but the pavement isn't moving". What makes it worse is that we were at the back of the tram next to the CM making the announcements who heard everything and who continued to say over the tannoy "yes that means we have stopped" We laughed for so long!!!

During our trip last October we made sure to ride COP multiple times. It's a sentimental favorite of ours, and there's nothing quite like having that song stuck in your head all day. :rotfl: On our first ride we were greeted by an older CM and ushered into the room along with quite a few other people. The CM picks up the microphone and asks how many were riding COP for the first time. Much to our surprise we were the only veterans on the ride. The CM then announced that the newbies were in for a great treat. He cautioned them to make sure they were in a seat with a working seatbelt and to pick up their 3D glasses from underneath their seats in order to fully and safely enjoy the show. We fell out of our chairs laughing, as did the CM, as we watched the newbies lean underneath their chairs to find those much-needed glasses. :lmao:

While it may not have been something that was said, back in '98, I was at the Toy Story Parade in what was then MGM, I was lined up for the parade to begin and looked across the street. A young man who was probably 20something was sitting down on the sidewalk and had a chalk-statement written with an arrow to him that said, "LOSER!!" I have it on video and laugh about it every single time I see it. No joke!!! :rotfl:

My best friend and I were in DL on Friday. We went in to see the ASIMO show (kind of interesting) and before the show, they were doing questions up on the tv. Well there is one question...what writer did Walt Disney get a lot of his inspiration for Tomorrowland from? The answer was of course Jules Verne, and they put up a picture of Walt reading 20,000 Leagues. My friend looks at me, dead serious and says...Who is that guy reading the book? (yeah, she isn't a Disney freak!) I was so disappointed in her at that moment. She tried to cover it, but I knew she was lost...

A couple of years ago in MK there was a photo of Walt Disney and Shirley Temple behind some glass sitting on a shelf in one of the buildings near the entrance. I was looking at it when a woman and her husband came over to look too.
I nearly lost it when I heard her say to her husband, "Oh, that's Shirley Temple and Charlie Chaplin" :lmao:

First week of April, crowded morning at MK as my family and I are walking thru the castle this teenage boy walking behind us asked me "which way are the rides?" at first I thought he was kidding and then I see the rest of his family looking hot and frustrated (it was not even noon!) waiting for an answer...I quickly pointed to the left and said "that way" :rolleyes1

During dinner at 1900 Park Fare, after Prince Charmin is done talking to daughter he asked my son "are you a Prince or a Princess?" he proudly answered "Pirate!"

Not sure why PC would ask your son if he was a princess (other than to make him laugh), but his answer was awesome! Way to go! :thumbsup2

I had a similar experience with my daughter at Epcot last year. She was taking a picture with Snow White, and Snow White told her, "You're a beautiful princess too!" DD, then barely 3, replied, "I'm not a princess, I'm a SUPERHERO!" Now I can laugh about it, but at the time, I was so embarassed!:sad2:

A son to his dad at the Animal Kingdom, "Dad, this feels like where my roots started". Dad, "Son I don't know about you, but my roots started in New York":rotfl2:

This didn't happen at WDW but on the way to DL.

My family used to always like to stop and eat dinner at a restaurant that was on the way to DL. One night my dad had ordered a meal with a salad, he had decided not to have the soup, so the waitress brought the salad out and a soup bowl with liquid in it. My father began to eat his salad and found that it didn't have any salad dressing, so he decided to start and eat the soup that he had thought that waitress had brought him for free. The first spoonful of the soup my dad had a funny look on his face, the second spoonful, he started to complain about the soup being cold, he continued to eat it, then after the fourth spoonful decided it just tasted horrible and called the waitress over and when he asked the waitress about the cold soup, she told him that "it was salad dressing for his salad."

Still to this day he gets teased about eating cold soup. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OK, I'm going to give you all a heads up on something that may be posted in September. We have a new name in our family for Cirque du Soleil. My aunt and my office manager have been friends since they were kids. The office manager is one of those people that tries SO hard to sound intelligent and has her own versions of words that she uses regularly and we all snicker behind her back. Last month, she and the owner had to go to a conference in Vegas. She was telling my aunt about some of the things they were planning, one was seeing a Cirque show. My aunt couldn't wait to tell me what she called it, and for the past month every mention of Cirque du Soleil (all these Disney specials on gives us many opportunities) we have to repeat it as, "Circus Ole!" (complete with snapping fingers on the ole)

Next trip is the first week of September, so if any of you overhear a couple women talking about "Circus Ole" . . . it's just us! :rotfl:
