I thought maybe you were behind us when we went to Philharmagic. DH had his hands out for the 3-d effects, and when Ariel swam up, I smacked his hands and told him to put them down.;)

Yes, but did you say it LIKE Ariel???

Probably been mentioned but....

(In line for Expedition Everest) "I CANNOT wait to go to Disney World tomorrow!"

Gives me shivers every time :sad2: .

Just remember, if you ever hear that, turn and say "wow, they are offerring free admission from now until (one hour from present time), if you hurry you can make it!!!"

(try not to laugh when sayng it!!)

ha ha! My Mum does that too. :P I just love the kids wonder in that show (and adults too :P) when they really believe they're there!

I have a friend who couldn't understand my confusion when she said they did Disney World in 1 day... Apparently, she meant they did MK in 1 day
:lmao:

When we met Aladdin and Jasmine last summer. Aladdin asked my kids if it had been a long trip to get there to which my kids replied "yes, all the way from Maine". Jasmine then asks did you come by caravan?" And they say "We did! How did you know?!" (we have a Dodge Caravan)

HAHAHAHAH:lmao: :lmao:
That is great!!!!!!

Funny, but a bit embarrassing since I was with my parents. When we were on the safari at AK, one of the elephants was not too shy to show everything he had, and these teenagers in front of us exclaimed to everyone to look at how "huge" it was. We all tried to ignore them, since there were so many families and children around.

Don't worry, you aren't alone in this...This is a daily occurrence--one I always tried to divert people from. People are just so immature about it--not just the teens, either! :confused3

Not to dwell on this, but he honestly can't control it. If you had a chance to watch him long enough, you'd understand. I was told that he was rescued from a circus which had been treating him very badly and keeping him i a very small space, so he now has a bit of a nervous disorder. It so sad... :sad1: At least to me. He loves his home at DAK, though and is much improved from when he first arrived.

I am glad to hear that he is much improved.

My funniest moment is funny for us because we are from Minnesota. Though we are German, my mom and Grandma have embraced a lot of the Norweigan traditions and foods. Well, we were in Norway this past spring in the Kringla Bakeri getting some good eats :thumbsup2 when we hear a family behind us order "lef-see" and ask what it was. The girl explained that it was a potato flat bread rolled up with brown sugar and cinnamon. The dad replied, "So, it's like a tortilla?" Hmmm...not really. Later, in the seating area, we saw the family with their lefse and they were scraping out the insides. :scared1: We were horrified! That's the best part! Why even order it at all?

Before I get angry messages, this was amusing for my family becase we make lefse a lot at home and we got a kick out of the dad's pronounciation. The correct pronounciation is more like "lef-suh". And I know that there are a lot of things we don't pronounce correctly, especially places in New England.

A few weeks ago my DH was coming out of the restroom in Epcot and this little boy was coming out of the ladies room with his mother, DH heard him say, "You should see the women's bathroom!! It has VENDING MACHINES in there!!!" :lmao:

OH...how I miss the age of innocence! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

:Tere was this little kid, maybe 7 and he saw Jasmine and his mouth opened so wide you could get an elephant in there, and he said wow Dad shes amazing, but very inapropriatly dressed:eek:

Oh what a fun thread! Here's my contributions:

From 3 teenage boys at DHS and one heads towards Star Tours, other two keep walking saying "Don't go on that one, it's lame! Let's go do Muppets!!!'

Woman who walked up to me and asked about my Pal Mickey:
"We got one and he was SUCH a rip-off, all he did was giggle and shake, he never said ANYTHING!!!"
(I did tell her you needed to squeeze him when he giggles to get him to talk, she just looked really mad and walked away)

Little girl being pulled into HM queue by her dad:
"Daddy I don't want to go here, there's wolves howling"
"It's not wolves honey, that's just the dog out back, he finished going potty and he wants his cookie"
(No joke)

Oh my! Now that is very clever Daddy. :lmao: I will never be able to go into HM without thinking that now. :rotfl:

I heard this while sitting and enjoying a beer on my honeymoon...

"Where in the $#%& do they find chickens with legs that big?"

It was the first and only time in my laugh I had a real "spit take"...

I hate to rehash things...but....this is the funniest line ever! I almost did a spit take at my desk. Especially since I am picturing the guy talking about a Turkey leg.

Where do I put in my credit card/cash to buy a fast pass ( At a fast pass machine at MK) Poor CM trying to explain it to the guy was even funnier- and by no means am I making fun of the CM- the guest and family just didn't get it....

I heard a quip a few days ago while waiting in line at the NEMO attraction. DW and I were there for the extended magic hour before regular opening, and a lady behind us was asking her husband why the lines were so long! His reply: "I don't know, they said it was only for the people from the hotel!"

(Duhhhhhhh!!)

(Umm, maybe it's the PEOPLE???)pirate:

One time this family was behind us in a character line, the teenage boy said "why can't we get a fastpass like everybody else?" the dad said "I already paid for the tickets I'm not spending more money to get us on rides faster." :rotfl: I turned around and tried to explain to him that they don't cost anything but I swear he kept looking at me like I was nuts! :rolleyes1
