What are some of the funniest character interactions you’ve seen? We’ve had breakfast at Cinderella’s castle 3 times over the years. Each time, those wicked stepsisters Drizella & Anastasia absolutely stole the show. Loud & annoying, they look like they are having an absolute ball while they‘re ‘working’.
A few years back, there was an embarrassed 8 or 9 year old boy at the table next to us, who was being courted by Anastasia. The more he tried to ignore/get away from the situation, the more she turned on her ‘charm.’ When she got up to go, she asked for one more picture. She mussed up his hair, & planted a big kiss on his cheek. The poor kid blushed so red, but not as red as the huge lip print she had left behind. As all of the people watching laughed & pointed, he looked his parents & whined “oh no!! Did she leave lipstick on me?!?” Anastasia knelt back down & grabbed his face, squinted & gave a very animated investigation to the opposite cheek. “Nope. Clean as a whistle!” She quickly got up, mussed his shaggy hair again & made her exit. As we all laughed again, he whined to he’s mother “did she leave a mark on me?” At that exact moment, Drizella (who just happened to be walking by, going to another table) did not miss a beat. She quickly paused & grabbed his head from behind. She spun him around, looked at both cheeks, & reported “Nope. You’re good.” As she took a step to walk away, she turned around & MWAH, planted an even bigger lip print dead center of the kids forehead. Off she went, the whole thing took about 3 seconds. The kid was a good sport, & just gave an exasperated sigh on the way back to his seat. His mother could not stop laughing. The next visitor to their table was Cinderella. She smiled & told him it looked like he had met her stepsisters. After a chat & a posed picture, she told him he might want steer clear of A & D. As she walked a way she quickly pressed a 3rd hot pink lip print on his remaining cheek. We all roared, as the poor kid blushed even darker. The characters were obviously having a great time. We laughed out loud at the Step-sisters, the other two meals we attended. Both times they were whooping it up, singing & screeching. They were thoroughly entertaining, & I can’t recommend 1900’Park Fare high enough! (The food is fantastic, too.)

What are some funny interactions you’ve had or witnessed, that had you laughing out loud?

My DH met Dug and Russell (she was around 22at the time). Dug wouldn’t let her leave! Russell took her backpack, Dug thoroughly sniffed it, Russell played with her hair, she was laughing so hard, I could tell the two CMs were having all ball watching her exasperated expression!

The stepsisters were at the breakfast at Cinderella Castle? When was that?

ETA: I see now you were talking about dinner at 1900 Park Fare. That makes more sense.

I was watching Gaston interact with the crowd once. He stopped, looked at this guy with his sleeves rolled up, walked over, and unrolled the guy's sleeves dismissively.

I once really cracked up Goofy's handler at Tusker House when I told Goofy that "A Goofy Movie" is like, the Citizen Kane of movies. I don't really know if Goofy heard it, but the handler was dying!

Our favorite family story happened at Chef Mickey's. Our kids were toddlers and didn't want to miss the characters so their daddy went to pick up some stuff for the table. The kids had their eyes glued to Goofy for autographs and pictures as daddy, hands with 2 plates of fruit and such, comes towards our table when in the middle of the walkway Goofy takes a big stride and spins to laugh so part of the costume swiped DH's hands, sending the plates and everything flying into the air comically. DH's stunned expression was too much, we all cracked up to the point of tears & the kids thought it was part of the show - we never corrected them until they were semi-adults. To be honest, my DH has a fantastic sense of humor and routinely did magic, pratfalls and all sorts of games etc to get the family to smile so the whole thing really did fit. My kids still think this was the all time best moment of their childhoods at WDW

When my kids were younger (now 23 and 28), we were eating in MK at LTT and they had Chip and Dale.
Chip and Dale took my kids from the table, walked around with them and opened a side door and put them outside.
We thought it was funny and it took a minute or two to have them come back inside.

Everything else has been pretty normal.
