Fun thread! Rules you think everyone should follow

PUHLEESE....I do not want to hear you smacking that gum ESPECIALLY in church!

And one that is needed at our administration building.........ladies, if you're going to hover over instead of sitting on the toilet seat, please clean/dry it instead of leaving your tinkle on the seat.

"If you sprinkle when you tinkle,Be a sweetie and wipe the seatie"

When walking stay to the right,be it at a mall, going up or down stairs or WDW--Could you just imagine if everyone followed this how much easier it would be to get around at Disney

Don't give your dog stuffed animals to chew up when you have a chain link fence unless you're willing to rake your neighbors yard(Good practice would be raking yours of all the dog crap that prevents the same neighbors from having bbqs or opening their doors and windows because it stinks so bad)

If you are going to drive in the fast lane, at least drive the speed limit.

When walking your dogs, scoop the poop.

Crocks with socks are not acceptable when combined with shorts. Unless you are Grumpy Pirate then you can do what you want.

Have your transaction ready at the drive up window at the bank!! Don't wait to get up there....ask for a deposit slip...then fill it out while the cars are piling up behind you!!:furious:

Go IN the bank!!!

No cell phones in the check out line

Don't let your kids race around on their heelys in stores.

And I agree with Pakey. They don't call it the fast lane for nothing! If you can't keep up, move out of the damn way! Ugh!

When I purchase popcorn from the admissions stand, don't touch the popcorn to see if it's warm before you serve it to me.

Turn your cell phone off when you are in the movie theater. If you forget, don't start chatting away when someone calls.

If you must bring your baby into the movies, have the decency to take the baby out when he starts crying.

The world is not your ashtray. Don't throw your cigarette out of your car window.

If you take the last of the toilet paper off the roll, put on another roll.

Do not belittle and/or insult the intelligence of people on an internet discussion board while making grammatical errors in your post.

Don't talk on the phone while driving.

Two things:

Unless you have delicate, fine features like Winona Ryder, circa the mid-90s, don't get your hair cut really short. I call this the Winona Ryder Rule and I have broken it myself, much to my horror about 30 minutes later.

Unless you have great arms and are not too busty, please refrain from the overwhelming trend of the strapless wedding gown. It makes a normal sized woman look chunky and dowdy. I swear, you open the sunday paper and every girl in there is wearing a strapless gown and most of them shouldn't be!

Please don't bring more than the alloted items in a 10 items or less lane at the grocery store. We all want to go home too... (one or two doesn't get me upset, but the person with a nearly full cart does)

Please be considerate in a public restroom and clean up after yourself, that includes flushing the toliet...

Figure out what you are going to order BEFORE you get in line!

Or at least use the 10-20 minutes WHILE you are in line to figure out what you and your entire family want to eat. At the counter is not the time to ask little Timmy if he wants a Cheeseburger or Nuggets, Soda or milk, what size fries your DH wants, what sides your wife wants etc....

This is for people who have short people in their lives. If you aren't willing to get it down for the little person don't put it where they can't reach it! Now if my DH would only follow this one.

Do not drive with your high beam bright lights on when on a highway with plenty of cars and a road light every 20 feet. And don't follow the car in front of you when it changes lanes to avoid your bright light, it doesn't help.

I thought that EVERYONE understood that!!!!
