I get super annoyed with people that break the rules like that too-especially when a CM tells them otherwise!! I get it that some people just don't know/realize, but then when a CM tells them-listen people!! Follow the rules, be an adult!!!

That is nuts about ToT being so empty!!

I still have to make it over to your PTR, not much DISin' happening lately, but I WILL get over there (probably tomorrow!). I'm curious about my shout-out....!

Great update Sarah! We did AIE also and had the same problem with ppl just sitting wherever they wanted to! The CM told them all to keep moving down and all did except this one lady she wanted to give a hard time she said she waited for an hr and she was sitting where she wanted to because she waited for an hour honestly we were one of the first few there and we werent even there an hr! The CM actually had to get the CM in charge like a manager and she talked to her too but in the ned the crazy women got her way!

Hi, welcome to my TR! We weren't sure what to expect since it was our first time going over the summer but it was a lot of fun. Hope your trip was fun as well!

Ugh, no kidding! And it's not like there are any bad seats in that theater. We were at the end of a row and could see just fine.

Holy clouds you had going on there. I actually love the weather at that time of the year. Blistering heat, burst of rain just when you need it.. ahhhh Florida! I want to live there.

I haven't been to AIE but I really want to. I think I'll wait for a finale though depending on how much time I plan for.

Argh those nasty seat people! They're just like table stealers at the water parks and the ones who show up two seconds before a parade starts expecting its A-OK with you to stand in front of them!

Reflection is a tough song to sing, I'd have voted for her too if she sang it well.

Smart to hit ToT with Fantasmic going on. I'm still in the freaked out stage of that ride but I do love the twist in the gut I get when the doors fly open and I drop...

LOL, I'm completely the opposite...as much as it would be great to live in Florida I do not think I could put up with that humidity for the whole summer. I think I'll stick with the cold/snow up here. hehe

The finale is definitely worth it and it's a little more exciting than one of the regular shows. But either way it's a great show.

Those people were so annoying. Apparently rules don't apply to some people.

The girl who sang "Reflection" did a really nice job. And she was so young too! You hear people on the real AI who sing that and are a lot worse than what she did.

haha, that's how I was the first few times I rode TOT. Trust me, you get over it. Though I do still get just a little nervous before dropping.

I can't believe I'm already on our last full day! Well...I shouldn't say already it's taken me almost 2 months to get this far. Sorry for the lack of pictures, like I mentioned in an earlier post my camera batteries were dying so I couldn't take too many.

But here we go. Just as it always is, our last full day came soooo quickly. I hate how that always happens. You plan for so long and then it's just over in the blink of an eye. I woke up already dreading the end of the day because we'd be that much closer to heading home. But I still had my DIS meet to look forward to so I was going to enjoy the day. We decided for our last morning we'd go over to Epcot. Even though we'd already been there 2 or 3 times we hadn't had time to do everything we wanted. And there was no way we could miss out on Soarin! So when we were ready we headed out to the bus. There was a really nice CM working there, keeping track of all of the buses that came by. He was one of those CMs who you could tell really enjoyed his job. It seems like lately a lot of people are complaining about grumpy cast members but fortunately we didn't encounter any of them. We also encountered another situation which is another strike against the dining plan. As we're sitting on the bench waiting for the bus, this lady comes out with her son and asks us if we were interested in their bottle of orange juice. She said that they didn't want it and didn't want to carry it around or whatever. None of us really wanted it either so the lady then proceeds to just throw it in the trash. A completely new, unopened bottle of orange juice. What a waste! I almost told her I'd take it just so she wouldn't throw it away. I just could not believe it. That was RIDICULOUS. I understand that they keep having those offers where you get the dining plan free but that still doesn't justify throwing away something like that. UGH, sorry to sound like a tree-hugger or whatever but that just irritated me.

Anyway, our plan for Epcot was that I would go get fastpasses for Soarin while Dad and Emma went on Mission:Space. Yes, I am still too chicken to try it. One of these days...So once we were through the gates we went our separate ways. I'd then meet up with Emma and Dad over at Mission:Space.

While we were waiting for the official opening, I noticed the family right next to me. One of the girls was wearing a Brewers visor. Fellow Wisconsinites! I almost said something to them but didn't. I'm not snooty, just shy sometimes! It was actually kind of funny because it turns out they were on our flight going home! So then we did the countdown to open the park and it was off with the masses to Soarin. Since I was by myself I tried to weave in and out of some of the crowds so I could get in faster. Whenever we do Soarin right away I always wonder what the CMs think with all the hoardes of people going over there. Do they think we're nuts? Or do they enjoy it? Hmmm...When I got downstairs some of the other CMs were greeting everyone, of course in their Mickey gloves! Some of them were playing little instruments and some were high-fiving people. *sigh* That's just one of those little Disney touches that makes me smile every time. But I was still on a mission to get those fastpasses so I made my way into the FP distribution area and got in line. There were only a few other people in front of me, so not too bad. At one point one of the guys had trouble with one of his tickets. The lady behind me, who I swear was trying to skip me, was getting really irritated. She was like "COME ON!!!" Relax lady, there's only four people in front of me, you're going to get your fastpasses! So with fastpasses in hand, I headed back over toward Mission:Space to meet up with Dad and Emma.

That part of the park was so dead compared to the other side of Future World. Crazy! Instead of waiting outside I went into the little giftshop and looked around. I had also been curious about the exhibits they have after you get off the ride so I went in there. My first impression was that it was a lot smaller than I had imagined it was. They had one station called "Postcards from Space" so I decided to make one to email to Claire.

There are a few different designs to choose from and they're video postcards...I think they film you for 10 seconds. Mine turned out pretty stupid because I just stood there, said hi, and waved. LOL! Ohhh well. After sending the postcard I decided to go back outside and wait for them to finish the ride. As I sat waiting for them I tried to soak in everything: the monorails gliding by, the palm trees, the music since tomorrow we'd be heading home. This would be so much easier if I could just live there! No, just kidding, as much as I love Disney World I don't think I could tolerate living in Florida. After a few minutes Dad and Emma came out. They enjoyed the ride as usual. We still had a while before we could use our Soarin fastpasses so we decided to take another spin on Test Track. We ended up doing the single rider line again because there was hardly anybody in it and the standby line was pretty long for some reason. I ended up riding in a car with a family with 3 small kids so that was pretty fun hearing their reactions. Always a good ride.

Once we were done with Test Track it was finally time for Soarin! We walked over to the Land and were kind of surprised the standby was pretty reasonable. But we had our fastpasses so it really didn't matter. I know they have those games in the queue area so one of these days we'll have to try standby.

We handed our fastpasses to the CM and were directed to one of the concourses. When we were assigned to our row, we ended up in row three, or whichever one ends up being the highest. Yippee! I know it doesn't make a huge difference but I always like the highest row. If you're reading my April PTR, I just did a list of my Top Ten Favorite Attractions and Soarin is number one. I love EVERYTHING about this ride. I love getting on those hang gliders and when they lower top and lift you up in the air...ahhh it's just amazing! It's also such a crowd pleaser. I really don't know of any other attraction that gets an applause at the end. Love love LOVE it! I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. And apparently other people feel the same way because as we were walking out I heard this one man say "I could live in this ride." hehe I thought that was amusing. But I couldn't agree more. I think part of the attraction (no pun intended...) is that it's just so different from other rides. So as usual we enjoyed our flight.

I have no idea why that lady threw it away. Atleast it had a top that if they didn't finish it they could save it. Guess she didn't care.

Hey! Sorry I've been so behind I went to visit my little sister who is a freshman at Duke this weekend and didn't bring my computer. Anyways, I loved all the updates! Glad the rain cleared up for you guys at DHS and I loved hearing about your AIE show. I was getting annoyed with those girls just reading about it!!

I always see people wearing stuff with logos of the sports teams I like. I almost always say GO TRIBE, GO BUCKS, GO HAWKS, GO CAVS, or whatever, and usually people look at me like I am crazy. So I don't blame you for not saying anything to the girl with the Brewers hat, LOL!

I HATE last days at Disney. Hate, hate, hate!
