Monday April 2nd
Weather ~ very hot, sunny 89*F
We decided to treat ourselves to a lie-in today, then spent the day swimming and sunbathing. As this is only a small hotel there is only one pool and one jacuzzi, however neither were ever crowded when we used them.
Late afternoon we showered and got ready for our meal at Boma. When I have looked at the different Disney hotels the two Lodges, Animal Kingdom and Wilderness, are the two that appeal to me the most. Well, what can I say but wow!!!
I loved Animal Kingdom Lodge!
We had a good look round, spotted the Hidden Mickeys, saw giraffes and zebras at the savannah and chatted to a lovely CM out there.
I bought a lovely book on Expedition Everest and a carved wooden ornament of three giraffes in the shop.
The meal at Boma was delicious and I loved the zebra domes that I have heard so much about. I won’t tell you how many I ate but it was a number between 4 and 6!!!
Spot the Hidden Mickey!!!
Well, I had to work off all the calories from those zebra domes
so we decided to go and play golf at Winter Summerland mini-golf. It was half-price today as we had played at Fantasia Gardens yesterday. We played the winter course. I think it was a bit easier than the Fantasia course or perhaps we had all honed up our golfing skills in 24 hours!!!
Then back to the hotel for a nice cup of tea after a very relaxing day.
Tomorrow ~ Universal Studios!
