Fun stops on I95?

My son 7 and I will take the trip down I95 from New England. I'd like to break up the trip with some fun stops. Any waterparks, fun hotels or the like you all recommend?

I recall seeing several books on I 95 stops on Amazon. These would list major sites such as waterparks, etc.

Stop at the Visitors Welcome Centers as you drive down. The clerks can often suggest activities/events that are small local events and not published in books.
