O.K. I asked about restraunts earlier, but I guess what I really want to know is what would be a fun, themed restraunt to go to near Disneyland. It would be nice if we could walk there (we're staying at Desert Inn) and we're only going with adults, but would still do a character meal to get us all in the Disney spirit. The only place I can think of is Rainforest Cafe, but I've heard one or two bad reviews. pluto:

hmm I say dont worry about 1 or 2 bad reviews. Everyone has different tastes. We dont go there only because we have one of those in Phoenix so we can go anytime.

What about the restaurants in the hotels of DL. A great character meal to get you in the Disney spirit is Goofy's kitchen at the DLH. You can walk there from Desert Inn. It's really fun and has some whacky food choices sometimes (Goofy's cooking of course!) along with the traditional ones.

I was going to reccomend Goofy's Kitchen as well. It is a great character dining experience. The staff is great, the interaction with characters is awesome, the food is hot and very good. They have lots of food, and lots of variety. They have a large selection of 'kid' type food but also a huge selection of more grown up food, like prime rib. But you can eat off the kids section if you want. Definately gets you in the Disney spirit.
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kichen in DTD is also good, I have never eaten there but have heard good things about it. There are also other options on the DL website if you want to look there. Good luck and have fun.
