Wondering if anyone has any fun treats/recipes they like to make while counting down their trip? :) I have a medium sized mickey shaped cookie cutter so we have been doing a lot of mickey sandwiches, mickey toast, etc, but I was wondering if anyone here has any other ideas? Just over three weeks to go for us!:banana::banana:

I second the pumpkin muffins! They have become a staple in our house. Good doesn't begin to describe them and it gets you in the mood for the season. :)

How exciting! Only 3 weeks away from your trip. I hope that you and your family have an awesome time at the land! As I am sure that y'all will. :)

How about making Mickey head shaped rice crispy treats? Chocolate caramel apples (Then please.... mail me one!) Or such without the chocolate. Both are very tasty. They can be dipped several times in different coatings; Caramel, then Chocolate, then another coating of both or suit to taste. Can also coat it with white chocolate. So then caramel, chocolate, repeat two or more times, then white chocolate. It can be a full coating or partial, or in sections, however you may like to do it. Then one can decorate them with really anything that you like, from nuts to sprinkles, marshmallows etc. Chocolate caramel apples remind me of Marcelines Confectionery. And of Disneyland in general, as does Cherry and Vanilla Coke, I love that too. So when I have these types of treats and drinks, they always remind me of the land.

Have you fried eggs too in the shape of Disney characters? Got cooking or baking forms/cutters? Got Disney eggs.

Here is a recipe that looks and sounds very tasty..... Enjoy, and you may send me several of them along with my chocolate caramel apple, please and gracias!

Churros Recipe! Yum!

OK, so I just finished reading the reviews for the above recipe. And the general consensus is that the recipe calls for too much water, so either decrease it, or increase the amount of flour. And or use this bakers advice from same site:

If you just follow the way how to cook these this will totally help, what you do is you buy Pillsbury crescent rolls, and you take 2 little rolls and you roll then together and twist them out to a long twisty form. then you set it in the oil and cook it and take it out and set it in the mix and it comes out much better. i did this in my high school Spanish class
