Fun mail!!

Yesterday we were surprised to get a big envelope from Disneyland. I have been pricing out packages for next fall but haven't booked anything so was not expecting anything in the mail.

Weird thing is that it was addressed to my 9 year old son. Both the envelope and the enclosed letter had his full name on it.

Turns out it was a book about Disneyland with beautiful coloured pictures. The letter discussed the exciting new changes at DCA and encouraged us to visit DL real soon.

Just find it odd that it was addressed to my son. He is on the Disney XD website and has entered some contests. Would they have his name from there? I'm just worried they will send us a PIN but it will be in his name!

Any how it was a lovely surprise!

Hmm..we got one of those too! Addressed to my hubby (also odd as I'm the one who books/registers everything!) It's a beautiful book. I thought it was odd (in a nice way) that it's not really promotional material in the sense of book now book now book now! Clever on their part because after looking at the beautiful pictures the only thing I wanted to do was 'book now book now book now!' But alas, my credit card says don't book now .

It is a beautiful book! Would they have taken the kids names off our previous WDW reservations?

I was hoping there was a letter with a PIN enclosed. My 6 year old and I sat down and looked at it at bed time last night.

I get letters like that all the time. I think it's just a random pool of information that they have. So if your kids submit their information thus they are in the pool.

My husband got one of these today...and he has nothing to do with any bookings.Mind you...he got a call from George Kalogridis's office a couple months ago in reply to an email I sent.Why they keep replying to him and not me

We received the book, too, addressed in my husband's name as well. The book is beautiful. I am not an AP member, nor have we stayed on site before. We do fill out surveys when asked though, so maybe they have a list. I also am encouraging people to write in to ask if the 6 and 7 day park hoppers are ever going to be reinstated again... I have a thread about it on the DISboards community forums.

Maybe that's why they addressed the book to my husband.
