Fun Fact:

I can still do the splits. I don't get up too gracefully afterwards, but I can still do them.

I can bend my pinky finger (so that the fingertip touches the palm of my hand) while keeping the other 3 fingers perfectly straight. Almost everyone else I know can't bend their pinky finger without the ring finger bending.

I used to think I was alone in this talent. However, one night we were out to dinner and my boys, DH, and I were talking about it and I was showing it to them to see if they could (these freakish traits are hereditary you know. DS7 has DH's freaky double jointed fingers & my tongue curling ability). The waitress saw what I was doing and tried to do it and she couldn't. She was all freaked out. She then went around the restaurant to see if other people could do it. She ended up bringing over to our table 3 people she found that could do it. I have a feeling every table she waited on the rest of the night, she asked if they could do it.

Now if you were really good, you'd be using your monkey toes to pull the bottom lip over the top lip...this is where those splits could come in really handy (or footy, in this case). Keep practicing -- you'll get it!

For the first time in my life I feel normal

I stayed in a room with 33 three to six year olds for 6 hours (once)....and I lived to tell about it! (God Bless preschool teachers!)
