Fun in your 40s and beyond.

"I'm not much of a night owl, I'm not 22 any more , but Jellyrolls is great."

Then I thought about it. I am having soooo much more fun now than when I was 22, and I had lots of fun at 22!

I'm having alot more fun now that I am fast approaching 50, but then I wasn't having much fun when I was 22!

I'm not so sure, I had a LOT of fun when I was in my early twenties. I don't know if I could stand to go back to that lifestyle now. There is something to be said for peace and quiet sometimes.

That is pretty much what I was trying to get at. I had a great time at 22, but I'm having a different, better time now.

At least I am remembering the fun that I'm having now! And today *sniff *sniff I am officially in my mid forties... But I'm ok with it since the alternative is not good!

One of the differences between now and when I was 22 is that I didn't have the same sense of fear that I have now. I threw caution to the wind all the time back then.

I had loads of fun in my 20's, no kids, few bills, could come and go as I please, could drink liquor and not get too hung over. I could never drink like that again!

Now I have a better sense of direction, I appreciate the finer things in life and life in general holds more value.

I had lots of fun in my late teens/early 20s and I have lots of fun now in my late 40s. Yes, there are differences--I partied in a different way when I was younger (two glasses of wine is my limit now!! ) but now I spend much of my spare time going to Disney, going to the beach, kayaking, buying and selling old books and ephemera, hangin' out with my beloved DH, fixing up my house, etc. I have a blast!

I have a great life and (most of the time) I feel very lucky! Go back to my early 20s?? No way! (Except physically, I'd love to look the way I did at 29--when I met my DH. ).
