Any thoughts on a fun dinner for the night of the princess half marathon. I am going with three friends for a girls weekend and we're all running the race.
Probably not overly expensive but somewhere like Cali Grill or the likes or even less expensive would work.

This will be my first half marathon, and I want to celebrate!

Cali Grill can be expensive but it would be fun with the girls. How about DTD or the Boardwalk restaurants. Paradiso 37 was really fun if you like mexican, south american food - plus I had the best Frozen Sangria there. They have live music and you could sit on the water. The only thing with that is they don't take ADRs - I tried to make an ADR there for our trip next week and called Member Services and they said Paradiso 37 was a walk up. I haven't tried the Boardwalk restaurants but am trying Flying Fish next wk or Kouzzina would be fun then you could go to Jellyrolls.

Good luck on your run! I am working my way up to that. I am up to about a 5k - am going to run at Castaway Cay if they still do that when I go.

I love the food at CG. It's a very loud atmosphere. I'm sure that would be fun with a group of GFs . It's be a great place to celebrate. You can special order a Congratulations Cake too.

When I did a girls weekend last Sept we really enjoyed the Wave and also Boma. Both have nice bars where you can get a drink prior to eating. The Wave is nice and quiet and has a very "grown up" ambiance.

Also the Cava de Tequila bar in Mexico at world showcase was A LOT of fun. So was Jellyrolls :goodvibes

Myself and the family are going to the Yachtsman. Nothing better than after running 13.1 miles chowing down on a big piece of beef! If I were going with the girls, I'd do Mexican or Japanese. We like Teppan Edo.

Il Mulino at the Swan, bluezoo at the Dolphin, great lounges in those two also.
Portobello, Paradisio 37 or Raglan Road in Downtown Disney, with Raglan Road being my fav there. Is Planet Hollywood still open?
