I'm hoping to plan a few different meals during this next trip that we haven't tried yet. I was wondering which restaurants have extra special desserts for kids-- things that are presented nicely or have an added fun factor...

We've had ice cream with chocolate crowns at Cinderalla's castle, and ice cream cone with Mickey sprinkles and cotton candy at the Kona Kafe. That's the type of thing I'm looking for -- or maybe decorate your own cookie or cupcake, etc.

Where have you seen something fun? Please let me know so I can plan fun things for my kids.

Thanks!

Artist Point has a white chocolate Mickey puzzle that comes with paints to color it. My kids got this last week and loved it.

The Grand Floridian resturants used to have a wonderful, adorable and delicious Cinderella's slipper that you could order in advance. It was white chocolate with raspberries and it was as tasty as it was cute. Do they still offer those?

50's Primetime has make your own sundae, but it isn't all that exciting, just a few little dishes with toppings comes with a dish of ice cream. The kitchen Sink sundae at Beaches and Cream would surely be a memorable dessert for them.

For the kids dessert at Garden Grill they have a cupcake to ice and decorate. My dd thought it was fun.

Does Kona still offer the cone with the cotton candy on the kid's menu?

No, it is on the adults menu now.

As is the chocolate mousse at Le Cellier :sad1:

Citrico's do a wonderful dalmations dessert of eclairs shaped like bones. I have a photo somewhere. It's very cute!

California grill have 'sushi' which is gummy fish on rice krispy cakes (not sure you call them that in the US!).

The California Grill offers "sushi" for dessert. It's rice krispie treats wrapped with a fruit roll up and a swedish fish on top. I remember also on the plate different shapes and cereals. Also the chocolate pudding on the kids menu is to die for:cloud9: Homemade and heavenly!

My kids have also enjoyed the make-it-yourself sundaes at 50s Prime Time Cafe. The entire dessert menu is on a hand held View Master which the kids thought was so cool. In addition the entire meal can be a fun interactive experience with your waiter/waitress.
