as you can see, I hardly ever post, but I came here to share a fun little dessert I made for my kids tonight (twin dd's 4.5 yrs, ds 18mths). I used my mickey cookie cutter on flour tortillas and made about 10 or so mickey head cutouts. I spread melted butter on them and put cinammon sugar on top of each one. Baked/broiled for a few minutes. They loved them!!

I thought these would be so cute for a Mickey themed b-day party, or before a wdw trip ;-)

Have fun!

This does sound like fun . . . and good, too! :D I miss the ones that Taco Bell used to sell that were kind of like this.

One question, though . . . where did you find the Mickey cookie cutter? I could make good use of one if I had it . . . stuff like Mickey Grilled Cheese Sandwiches & Mickey Knox Blocks come immediately to mind . . .

Thanks for sharing!

Or a thin layer of chocolate cake with a layer of icing and another layer of chocolate cake. Kinda like an cake oreo. Oh, now my mind is percolating on the possiblities. Please let us know where you got that cookie cutter!!!!

Thanks,

TK

What a great idea! I've been taking a bit of bread dough out of the machine when it's done and letting it rise in the cookie cutter, then baking the whole thing. It makes for a cute "mickey english muffin" for breakfast.

You'r way is so much easier!! :) can't wait to try it!

I also love the knox blox idea...why didn't I think of that??? :D And a cake...I need you guys in my kitchen!!

I got our cookie cutter at the cooking store at the world...Do you have that number that lets you order? I do somewhere....just don't ask me where.

:) Have a great day!

I have a few Mickey cookie cutters. I've seen them at Hobby Lobby -- Wilton makes them. I've seen all kinds of Disney character cutters there sometimes. For Christmas and Valentine's Day TDS had cookie making sets that came with three Mickey and Minnie cookie cutters. A few might still have some Valentine sets left. Of course it's Pooh for Easter

They have all kinds of great ones at the park. And they are nice and big. I even have a Tinkerbell cutter.

Thanks for the ideas! I have a 21 mo. DS who would love these treats.
