I don't see many reviews on this good or bad - is it still open lol? Is it that bad people don't comment or is it just so-so? We have always wanted to eat there but never get round to it and want to know whether it is worth making more of an effort to eat there or not?

I have seen some really outstanding reviews for this place, but your right in that it doesnt get reviewed here alot. I chalk that up to the other places that dont often get reviewed (Bongos, House of Blues, Rainforest Cafe etc), because it doesnt participate in the dining plan. Most of the reviews you see on here are all on some type of dining plan and any of these places are oop.

DW and I love Fulton's! We like to go about 2ish and have always found a light croud and great waiters! The Crab Claws are to die for - 1.5 lbs of scored claws with drawn butter - available lunch or dinner! I've also enjoyed the lobster at Fulton's, also a grand experience, but it pales to the Claw Experience! :woohoo:

I have a ADR for Fultons my next trip in November, although I have never eaten there I am very anixious to :) I have wanted to eat there since back when it was the Empress Lily and had a ressie for breakfast which we missed do to transportation problems :sad2:

I have never heard anything bad about them and I know they are quite popular, we attempted to get in last year for dinner without a ressie and the wait waS 1+ hours, so we bypassed it.

I love Fulton's!

My husband & I ate there in Feb 2010 & loved it! When my mother & I did a weekend trip, we also went there and very much enjoyed it. It definately is a must do for us on all our longer trips now.

Fulton's is a must do for us. From the great atmosphere (eating on a boat) to the great seafood (get the bisque and crab cakes!) We have to go once each trip.

My family and I went there for dinner in August 2008 and thought their food was amazing, so we don't have any bad things to say about them.

This is a favorite, both sentimental and food wise. It is the first restaurant my DH took me to on our first trip to Disney together over 28 years ago. We try to go once every other year (and the only reason we don't go every year is because it is very expensive and we now go to Daytona or Marco every year after Disney and can get plenty of seafood there). We have never had a bad meal and the service has always been outstanding. Here is a link to my review from our 2008 trip:

It is Post #17

We've eaten at Fulton's several times and the food and service are always excellent.

You don't see many reviews here because it is way out at Downtown Disney (not at or near a park) and it isn't on the dining plan. The emphasis here appears to be on restaurants in or near theme parks, because even the outlying DDP restaurants (Shutters, Olivia's, Turf Club, etc) don't get reviewed that much.

i have seen on a few trip and food reports that you can get fried lobster tails, i can;t see it on the menu. Does anyoen know if this is still available and how much it is?
Thanks

Uhmmm....I guess I'm the oddball here. We went in 2008 and it was awful! They packed us into a small table (3 of us) surrounded by 3 large parties and they basically forgot us. The food was so-so and nothing spectacular. It was a birthday celebration, but by the end of the meal we were so forgotten that the waiter brought us our check & said "oh, we have a birthday here, right?" At that point we said yes, but we were finished with our meal. It was so bad that we won't be giving it a 2nd try. :confused3

We have it booked for the first time for our summer trip. I've heard lots of good things about it. In fact a friend of mine just came back from Disney and said it was the best meal of her trip.

I haven't eaten there since it was the Empress Lilly!

Does anyone remember when the big character breakfast was on the Empress Lilly?

We love Fulton's Crab House - same thing as someone above posted - it was the first restaurant my DH and i ate at on our honeymoon! We are going back this year for our 10 year anniversary. We are traveling with my DS 5and inlaws and they are all going to the Hoop De Doo so we can have a night to ourselves.

I remember when we went in 2000 I had calamari for the first time, we loved it so much we ordered a second plate.

I can't wait to go again.

Just want to say I hope you have a great 10 year anniversary dinner at Fulton's. :)

The menu changes daily, and I don't recall seeing them. But I could be wrong. But I had a Lobster Narragansett - a 1 1/4 pound lobster stuffed with scallops and shrimp - it was delicious. The lobster was from South Africa and a bit sweeter than a Maine lobster.

DH, DS 13 and I just ate there last Saturday night. It was outstanding. The food, atmosphere, wait staff - can't complain about any. Our waitress was very attentive - Jennyfer. It was DH birthday, and our anniversary this week, so we were treated to coffee and cake on the house.

I love Fultons. We live about an hour away and go there every few months.

We have never had an anything but wonderful experience there.

Try the milk chocolate creme brulee. It is fantastic!
