My ONLY issue with this place is whether or not it is worth it.
It is very expensive. My parents and my wife and I ate a dinner there and it was....well, pricey to say the least. Fortunately, my parents picked up the tab :yay::woohoo:

But the meal was awesome. My wife and I shared the lobster and king crab legs for two with creamed spinach and garlic whipped potatoes. My father had the Salmon and My mother had the Australasian Lobster tails. Add 2 bottles of wine and it was an Extremely tasty and expensive meal.

BTW, if you eat there, I highly recommend skipping dessert, walking around Downtown Disney for a while and going to [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop for the warm cookie sundae. By far, the best overall meal we had in WDW....But thank goodness, my parents were there!!! :dance3:

Anyone else have an experience or opinion to share on either the food or the pricing?

:rolleyes1

I hate Fulton's! We ate there for lunch in 2004. My dh was waiting patiently to eat there our entire trip so on our last full day we had lunch there. The restaurant was empty...but I remember our service being spotty and the food was horrid. I just had like a fish fry or something...I don't even remember because it was so bad. Anyway I've had better fish at the pizzeria that serves fish frys on Friday's during lent. Everything was soggy. Anyway, we will not eat there again. At the prices they charge I can't risk another bad meal.

I'm happy you enjoyed your meal though :)

Im sorry you experience was so bad. When we were there in 2004-2005 (new years week) The restaurant was busy, but not mobbed. We were there at dinner time though. As far as the service, I had the exact opposite experience. The waiter we had "Eric" was just a bit too "happy" and excited to be there. He did a good job, but he kept bugging us to see if we needed anything. Usually the opposite is the problem at any sit down restaurant in the country...LOL

But there IS such thing as too much...

Anyways, I didn't think the food was soggy at all, but it was expensive, so if you had a bad experience, I wouldn't blame you for crossing it off your list.

What are your fav Disney table service restaurants?
I'm really looking forward to going to the Primetime Cafe and Le Cellier for the first time next time I go...(hopefully next winter!!!)

Glad you enjoyed it!:goodvibes

But we've been to Fulton's once & probably will not go back. Maybe it's what we ordered. Mostly fried Seafood, with some oysters that were inedible. Our service was also very very slow, poor service overall. We had to ask the bus boys to find our waiter, more than once.

For seafood, we will head to either Flying Fish or Narcoosee's. We've had great meals at both.

Hmmm, I guess I was the only one with a good experience at Fultons. And hearing these coroborating opinions makes nervous to ever go back...Like we just got lucky that time.

Oh well, there are plenty of places to eat on property.

It very well may be that you all made the right choices with the food!:thumbsup2 If you enjoyed it, please don't let two opinions keep you from going back. You may very well hear from many more who had a great meal as you did.

mfriedl1: The food is good but very expensive.
You didn't ask about the service--which is wretched.

I guess we have just always hit it wrong...been 3 times and everything we great! The service was as good if not better then most of the ts places we went to.

Expensive? Uhhhhh...yes. but everything at Disney is also extremely expensive!!!

Fulton's is one of our favorites. We haven't had a bad meal yet but I will let you know when we get back from our next trip. We have ADR's for May 27th. DH and I first went there when we were on our honeymoon in December 1987 and we try to get there every chance we get.

Fultons is so on my NO list. The food was salty. The service was poor. It is really sad because Fultons has one of the more varied menus with decent choices on it. If I am at DTD and in need of seafood I will just go to the counter service fish and chips stand up the path or head over to the table service Wolfgang Pucks.

I wonder if this is the difference of what the seeafood taste like compare to the seafood that is in our home area. For instance I always though Maryland crabs were great but I now know that Outbanks Crab is 100 times better..

DH and I ate there last year and had a great meal. The service was great and we loved everything except for the calamari appetizer. DH had the filet mignon w/lobster tail add on and I had the Alaska king crab legs, we shared the chocolate creme brulee for dessert.

I really love Fulton's ..... I always have a great meal, yes it is expensive, but I think it is well worth it!! YUMMY:rolleyes:

Fultons is one our favorites. DH and I will make this our first meal stop when we arrive on 5-10-07. Although we will be there at lunch time, we will ask to order from the dinner menu. Many more choices there. Fulton's really does specialize in fresh Crab and Lobster and they do an excellent job with those. So I was not suprised to hear that the fried fish platter was just mediocre.

As far as expensive..... yes it is. But I have always been pleased with our food and feel the price is worth it.

i am sorry to hear bad reviews on fultons. i have never had a bad meal at that restaurant, in fact all the meals there have been fantastic.:goodvibes

there is not another restaurant at wdw that serves as many seafood items and that i can say is allways good. i guess i was just there at the right times. :confused3

my problem there is the wait time. sometimes i don't know in time to make reservations and the wait can be very long.

we had a great meal there in January. The prices are not cheap, but my Mahi w/mango salsa was out of this world!

Interesting thread! We've never been to Fulton's, so we're trying it in October. I love lobster tails!

We ate there in November of 06. We had the portabello fries and loved them.

I like the fact that they bring you a little crab dip and crackers free along with the recipe.

My daughter and I split the snow crab legs and my husband had some sampler and it was all good. Our splurge was for 2 bottles of bottled water as we were tired of icky tasting water with our meals.
