Full Star Wars Chronology

What order should you watch all the SW offerings in? According to D+, it's:

Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Revenge of the Sith
Clone Wars
Bad Batch
Solo
Obi Wan Kenobi (premieres soon)
Rebels
Rogue One
A New Hope
Empire
Jedi
Mando
Boba Fett
Resistance
Force Awakens
Last Jedi

That is right chronologically, except Clone Wars is between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. I always advise those new to Star Wars to watch in release order. I like Saga order personally these days, but only because I know the lore. The prequels could spoil some of the OT, at least if someone really doesn't know.

Also, to note, Clone Wars is not in chronological order, but it all takes place within the same time frame between Episodes II & III.

Well, they have Clone Wars flat wrong. Well, technically some of the very last episodes take place right at and jsut after Revenge of the Sith/Order 66, but it's only in the final season tha tthey released directly to D+. If you want to get real deep into it, you could slot ROTS in between the episodes.

I did get the email from Disney+ adn TCW is listed below ROTS, but there is a line connecting to between AOTC and ROTS, so I think they got it right.

Also, to note, the first season of Resistance takes place before The Force Awakens, but the second season takes place after. The destruction of Hosnian Prime takes place during the end of season 1 and is depicted on screen with Hux's broadcast speech.

I think it is always best to start someone brand new with the originally released three: New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi. After that, go back and watch in timeline order.

I still need to finish watching Resistance. I just didn't really get into it much. I watched a lot of season 1, and the finale/Hosnian Prime episodes, but none of season 2. It's on my to-watch list.

Resistance was a werid show. I really wanted to like it and it was really hitting it's stride toward the end of Season 1. Season 2 though kind of brought everything back to zero and started to build again. It lost the momentum it had, though again, in the back-half of Season 2, it started getting really good! I think the show just never knew what it wanted to be, and you can't reset like that every season. I think they should have focused on the racing and left out all of the tie-ins to the Resistance etc. The show would have needed a new name, but I think it would have worked better. It's too bad though, because it had such potential and a lot of great characters. Also, the animation was gorgeous!

Season 2 is still worth a watch, but it's too bad it will never go further. They need to "rescue" one of the characters somehow an work them into another story. Of course, not much is on slate for that point in the timeline, but maybe a young Yeager could work. He and Tam were easily the best characters in the show. I also loved all of the Ace Squadron racers, but they got so little screen time!
