Full Size VS Standard SUV

We had a 6 day rental for a full size at Alamo for next week for $145, which I was happy about. Today, I decided to change it to a Standard SUV for $190. We are picking up at TPA and dropping it off at the Dolphin in WDW. Now, I am saying I should of kept the other. We are a family of 5. Will the SUV give us a lot more room?

I think so, but not all SUVs are created equal. Some are much roomier in my experience. If you don't Iike the first one they offer, ask what else is available.

Kandb, I'm sure the standard SUV would give you a lot more room than a full sized car. $190.00 is a great price for a 6 day standard SUV from Alamo! I have been looking everywhere for weeks and can't find a standard SUV for under $600.00. Would you mind PMing me the Alamo discount code you are using?

What about luggage space? I think you can often fit more in the trunk of a full size car then you can in the back of an SUV.

And I respectfully disagree but as I stated, not all SUVs are created equal. I find the only time you really limit your luggage space in a SUV is when you use the third row if one exists. But those are usually found in the full sized category of SUVs. JMHO

Sorry, I just saw this. We are actually flying into tampa and dropping the car off at the Dolphin inside of WDW. The only code I used was the coupon code AD3868JST and we are Alamo insiders, so signed into our account. For some reason, it seems that MCO is a lot higher to rent a car. Alamo is not even charging a one way drop off fee like thrifty or dollar does. Good luck
