I know it looks like I am talking to myself but just wanted to chime in again and say how happy I am that the birthday party was magical. I was in tears so I can hardly imagine your emotions! Thank goodness for the photographer, some of the photos are amazing!!!

Thank you all for the kind words. It has been a crazy time coming home and getting back into the swing of things. kj2mom You are not alone, I have been reading all of you posts, it's so sweet that you are just as excited for my little guy and as emotional about it. I am happy to share his special trip and his story and know that it touches others. He really is a true blessing.

I will be posting again today and adding in a little about Casper section so watch for that.

I am so glad you all had such a magical trip. Your blog made me smile and shed quite a few tears. My niece is a childhood cancer survivor and has such amazing memories of her wish trip. Please tell Casper that I think he looks very handsome with his new haircut. And to his amazing siblings, they deserved the trip just as much as Casper did. He is a very lucky guy to have such siblings.

Awe thanks so much. Yes his big brother and sister have been so amazing through everything we have been dealt the past 4 years it's incredible. They adore their little brother and have never once complained about not being able to do things or having to forgo certain activities because of him. It was a blessing for them to get some special time with us and some time for them to feel special also. Give Kids the World really makes the whole family feel special not just the wish child. They also got to spend special time with Casper. The Village is so accommodating and has so many amazing volunteers that we felt comfortable giving the kids a little reign and they were able to take him to the buffet by themselves, for instance, while we sat at the table in the dining room, such a small thing but they had so much fun doing it. They were also able to ride the carousel with him while we waited and watched and just be kids.

I posted a new blog post today and am working on a sort of part 2 of it now if anyone is still following and interested.

Twice_as_Nice, I read your blog and I cried. These Wish trips are truly awesome for the families and Give Kids the World is a truly amazing organization. Sounds like your trip was beautiful and I'm so happy for your family. Bless you all.
