We have always stayed in premium sites but this time I am traveling with my mom, my sister and my sister's grand kids as well as my own kids, so we will have two sites. My mom is graciously and generously paying for both sites so I would like to keep costs down some. We are also going during a busier time of year than we usually go so that raises the price as well. Please tell me what your favorite full loop is and why. Also, where on the loop should we ask for (or how should we ask) to get the easier spots to back into. My husband is not going and I am nervous about backing the campers in.
Thank you for your help!

In order 1800 1600 1700 1900. 1900 has to many drop offs around the immediate pad. For us.

I'm going to follow this thread, we normally stayed in preferred pets loop but this time we have a tent Pop up site for our popup... Any recommendations? I was taking what I could get!

Only 2 loops in that category, cmullen. 1500 and 2000. Always try 1500. closer, smaller, more convenient Comfort Station and bus stop.

2000 tends to get a lot of overflow groups that can't schedule the Creekside Meadow group campsite next door. I've been there with 50 cub scouts and parents running around at all hours not respecting my campsite, etc. 2 cars per site, crowded, hard to back in, etc. I've also encountered a few groups in 1500 (see my signature for when 1500 or 2000) but not as often.

IMO always request 1500. I have a popup now and for the last 11 years and that's what I prefer.

Looking at the map of the Fort, I get the impression that the FH sites are kinda "secluded" from the rest of the campground. Is this correct? We have a FH site booked for June (5-11), and it will be our first FW experience. We don't "plan" on getting a golf cart, but do we need to consider it? It will just be and my wife and our two dogs. We are planning two, maybe three park days (6/6, 6/10) with the third park being a water park. Our dogs will be kenneled on our two park days. We plan on using transportation (boat to MK, bus to everywhere else).

Full hook up sites are a short walk over the bridge to the store, pool, bike barn, tennis. You come in from the back. Of course the bus stop is right at the end of the road.

Thanks so much for your help I requested 1500 :) have a fabulous day! One more week until we're off to the fort!!
