I will be booking later in the week and am not sure which of these to choose. We are renting 2 travel trailers for our trip in March. I know that we want to have access to cable tv, electric, water and sewer. It looks like both of these have this. I am uncertain which one would best fit our needs. We will have golf carts too. Any suggestions I which one? Thanks for the help. :)

100 and 200 are not specified pet loops. 300 1600 1700 1800 1900 are if this matters in your decision. Out of 100 and 200 I would choose 200. Out of 1600 - 1900, 1800 first choice 1600 second choice.

I have to tell you that now that I've stayed with our RV, if I had a choice in Full hook-up or Preferred??? I would take Preferred as I hated dealing with the sand. It was all in our new RV. We would sweep 3 times a day and you couldn't get rid of the sand.

We just got back from our latest trip this pass June 21st, if I could I would change our Christmas trip to Preferred but its too late they only have tent and popup lots left. So I'm suck with having full hook-up...and all that lovely sand...

I did go ahead and book the perferred. I haven't rented the RV yet, we aren't going until March. If cabin rates are reasonable I will probably switch to them. I agree about the sand. Looking at they youtube videos, I decided perferred would probably work out better for us. :)

I think the preferred sites still have sand. I thought preferred was similar to full hook-up, but are preferred due to the location.

Premium sites may be the only sites with paving.

Brocktoon, you are correct. Only the Premiums are all concrete. The other three types (Preferred, Full, and Partial/Tent) have a mix of concrete and crushed shell (sand) pad.

But IMO veraletta will want to keep her Preferred spot because assuming your not travelling with a pet and request loop 300, loop 100 and 200 (the other two Preferred loops) are ground zero for Christmas decorations at the Fort. While there are lots of great setups all over, those loops that boarder where 400, 100/200, and 700 come together are like Times Square on New Years Eve ("the place to be").

I think a nice stiff foot rug at the bottom of the steps will keep most sand out.

Better bring some decorations for your site, veraletta. At least something to show your Christmas spirit.

I hate the sand but since I can be closer to the Marina, I will keep it unless I can get the site without sand.
I keep mess up with Premiums and Preferred.

We do love the 100 area as we alway asked for it when we stayed in cabins... They have two cabin in 100 loop and we always enjoyed them as you can walk to the Marina.
I never notice that the camping site had sand next to us. Oh well..

We brought Christmas decorations with us the last two year at Christmas time, can't wait until this year.
I'm having a hard time thinking where we will put Christmas trees as in the cabins my granddaughter had two trees up one in each window, but this year we will be in our RV class c... I may have to put one outside.. Lights and candy canes are easy enough.. but I bought Christmas garland with lights for the cabin deck last year, guess it will stay home on our deck. lol
